One of my favorite restaurants on the Eastside. Tempura is crispy and well fried. Definitely get dessert here. Really enjoyed the Sweet Potato Crème Brûlée and the Kohaku Dashi Stock Udon was surprisingly delicious. Will need to try the curry next time. Would definitely come back and wait for a table.

I’ve been wanting to try Tendon Kohaku since last year, but the wait time was always too long. I was finally able to go this time. I ordered a few different items, and honestly, everything felt a bit on the greasy and heavy. That said, the group seating area in the back had a really nice atmosphere. Service was okay. I don’t think it’s the best value for the price. I heard they also have a location in Vancouver and it’s cheaper, so I might try that one instead.

this is my 6th time here :). it's been consistently excellent every single visit. The tendon is perfectly executed light, crispy batter that doesn't get greasy, quality ingredients, and the sauce ratio is always on point.
What keeps me coming back is the reliability. Some places have off days, but Kohaku just delivers every time. At this point it's become my go-to spot when I'm craving tendon. Highly recommend.

Delicious and scrumptious literally happiness in food form and I’m typically picky. Sashimi tendon just hit the exact spot. Fish is top tier. Presentation is insane. Peak playlist as well whoever is on aux is cooking all day. Just come and eat it trust.
