After being told they can't make Half spicy chicken half normal chicken. Last time, now they can. So I will update the review.

Nothing special. Go if you’re in the area and need a quick bite.
Portions are on the smaller side compared to other places with similar pricing.
Food taste is bland. Not terrible, but not great, just okay.
Wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

Far right newspaper (Epoch Time) always on display. In these troubling times I’ll take my money elsewhere.
Got the chicken and gyoza. Half the chicken tasted like it was treated with bleach. Gross. Been here multiple times over the years. Not coming back after this.
Excellent teriyaki with great service! My new go-to teriyaki spot on the east side.

This place gives a good amount of food for the price and it tastes great too. The staff are kind and sweet. Best Teriyaki place I’ve been to.
Kid-friendliness: The staff had no issues cleaning up a water spill from a family with two little kids and even gave the kids lollipops after they finished!

I ordered an expensive 18 dollar chicken teriyaki from teriyaki house. This high price alone brings expectations up, but this location had middling quality teriyaki, which along with it being named “Teriyaki House” makes me unhopeful for the rest of the menu. Specifically, the teriyaki was dryer than typical and also lacked strong flavor backing. The portion sizes are fine standalone, but skimpy for being 18$. Overall, this location is pricey, and too average to justify going here for any other reason than convenience.

Been here a few times, it’s always pretty solid, however nothing above average in terms of teriyaki in the Seattle area. The regular chicken teriyaki is 15 before taxes and fees, the large is 18, and for the 3 dollars you get maybe 75% more meat which is definitely solid. The salad is your average good teriyaki salad with tasty dressing, the rice portions are fine. The real MEAT of the meal however, at least from my handful of experiences here leaves something to be desired for the price. It’s definitely good teriyaki chicken, but not good enough for the price. You can certainly find this quality or higher for more like 11 dollars places in Seattle. I tried my friend’s spicy beef teriyaki and I DID find it to be much more interesting than the chicken, however that dish comes at an even higher premium. This won’t stop me from dining here, as when I’m in the area it’s incredibly convenient, however I will have to take a look around the menu in the future to see if there’s any other merits to this establishment that would outshine the average teriyaki.
TLDR; fine, average teriyaki for Seattle, but at a higher price point than I would expect to see.

My favorite Teriyaki Place in Lakemont, I go about three times every month. Great quality for a good price. I would fully recommend to anyone in the Lakemont area. Chicken and Chicken Katsu is my personal favorite.

We ordered the grilled chicken teriyaki to go. Both the chicken and rice were very dry. The chicken was over cooked and tough. It appeared pre-cooked and then warmed up. The scoops of rice were starchy and sticky and also appeared pre-cooked and not kept moist. The restaurant was recommended but was a disappointment. I called the restaurant and explained my disappointment, received an apology, and then a quick hang up. So much for trying to please the customer.

Loved the spicy chicken teriyaki. Not from the Seattle area so can't gauge if the price is normal for the area or not, but it was really good. I would have liked some spicy sauce on the table to bring the heat up a bit more but the flavor was excellent.
