A great brunch spot with the girls! Also the cinnamon roll could feed a small village and was delicious

I won't lie, I don't know why we decided to come here. Our family never likes American food like that and this place only made that opinion stronger. I get that rent is really expensive and so naturally should the price of the food but it was insanely mind opening how much the bill could be. And I know you could say we could've totally walked out the moment we saw that menu but we thought this place could live up to the prices like some other places that do. Anyhow, we made a reservation and my parents tend to run late but we stayed on time this time because we were going to be charged for being late. It's reasonable for a no show but I think if the quality of the food is just going to be like that, and it's not even busy, I thought about it after the dinner and to me, it was just kind of unacceptable.

Anyhow, we were seated and if there's one thing spectacular about this place is the interior. My sister got some nice photos and the bar looked really nice. But none of us drink. Then came the ordering, we got a seasonal drink, bread and butter, 8 oz steak, 4 oz tuna sashimi, risotto with chicken, and scallops. Total was $400. My jaw was on the floor. I was in utter disappointment. The drink tasted weird but that was whatever, it was something we wanted to try. The steak. We asked for it well done and it came back medium rare. Still got charged the $150 though. Sides were just mash. The sashimi, such a big plate for what. And the chicken. So dry. Funniest thing is the scallops. It said 3pc on the menu and when it came out of the kitchen with five, our server could not but make an emphasis. He kept on hitting us with the, the chef was really kind to add another 2pc. I was thankful the first time, but I just don't need it to be intentionally reminded that many times. Luckily, some of out stomach was filled with carbs. He was super cool overall though. Was on time with water refills and switching out the utensils when it came time to shift from appetizers to entrees. Wouldn't be back. Felt robbed.

I’ve held off on writing this review however this is important. After arriving for Mother’s Day and waiting for over an hour for our brunch, and extremely poor service- the maitre de approaches us and says that “some people save for months for to dine at a place like this”- um, are we some people? The brunch was extremely disappointing, the service was abysmal, and after that comment and a $50 coupon that was the insulting cherry on top- we will never be back and have not been back since then.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience! The food was really delicious and our server was so nice! I don’t remember his name but he went out of the way to make our dining experience great and had tattoos! 11/10 would definitely go again :)

Good flavors and service. Disappointing food temperature. Almost like everything was waiting for the filet but even that was cool and not warm.

That was impressive. Great staff. Wonderful food. Fantastic all the way around!

From the moment you walk into The Lakehouse, you’re greeted with a stunning ambiance that blends upscale elegance with cozy, farmhouse-chic charm. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was thoughtfully plated and bursting with fresh, seasonal flavors—true farm-to-table excellence. The cocktails were equally impressive, perfectly crafted and balanced. Highly recommend coming during happy hour or for a special dinner out. Bellevue is lucky to have this gem!

Staying at W. Ordered breakfast to go. He said look at Menu prices are different then online. They were not? AUTOMATICALLY added 20 % which I always do even on to go but DID NOT MENTION THAT. No salt and pepper on eggs at all, chicken sausage dry and the greens WERE so salty. Asked for fruit instead of potatoes and got a tiny cup of berries. I NEVER complain as you can see in my review history. It was such a bad experience all around. You can definitely do better. I say DO NOT ORDER TO GO. I also asked if he could call or text when ready. He said oh I will be on the floor sorry your food will be over there. They got the entire order right which is always nice.

Stopped in just for desert after eating dinner nearby. Place was empty on Sunday at 6pm.

We split a tiramisu which was great.

The two stars are for the restrooms which are shared. Men and women get different doors, but they lead to the same shared bathroom which is really strange. Explain to me who wants that?

It's the hotels bathroom, but it's where the restaurant directs customers who ask for the restroom. And the restaurant failed to mention to my wife that she would be sharing the experience with several men.

I worked in this building, when the janitors clean the mens room near the food court, they block the door so men cannot enter while a woman is alone cleaning. Makes perfect sense!

Apparently the same safety concerns don't extend to the guests at The Lake House.

If you want to pee in private you have to walk all the way across the food court to the public restrooms.

So yeah, if you're the kind of place infected with the shared bathroom mind virus, at least give your customers a warning, so we can get our tiramisu elsewhere.

Won't be back, too many good restaurants around that don't force your wife into awkward and potentially dangerous bathroom encounters.

Kid-friendliness: If you want your daughter using a restroom with men.

Came weekday for Restaurant Week and ordered the set menu. Beet salad, pasta and a crumble. Pretty disappointed. The food was suuuuuper basic, under seasoned with strange combinations of flavors. For instance, the beet salad had whipping cream under it? Far too heavy with fat. The pasta was cooked well, but the sauce was too thin and acidic. Service wise, they were bringing out our mains and we weren't even 3/4 of the way done with our salad. Poor performance. I would not return here for the price, or the food. Not worth it.

Unfortunately this establishment is below average and quite confusing. For being open all the time It seems to be very quite for brunch and dinner. Our weekend in Bellevue was paired with below average food for an extreme price. Management seems to be absent and unaware. Food took long but also many errors on menu. The website was completely different from the menu given to us. Server was friendly but didnt know the menu or the dishes. Very disappointing, I would not recommend eating here. They do not care about your money or time.

located inside of the w hotel in downtown bellevue. if i’m perfectly honest, i’ve only had the catering; however, i had it several times and it was so terrible each time that i refuse to step foot in the joint.

i hate to be so harsh, but each time there were complaints from multiple people… after awhile, it just felt like they would not listen to any criticism. when they would be chosen to cater again, we’d dread it. it got to the point where we stopped allowing them to cater all together.

i’ve seen pictures of the food from the actual restaurant (it looks good) and this place is rated fairly highly, so i’m not sure why the catering falls so flat. it’s not like we were asking them to bring anything far — in fact, we were in the same block.

i hope some time they improve.
