It was a little bit of a surprise entering the store. Not really a restaurant, but a deli. Maybe I should read better. That said we enjoyed what we bought!! A couple of different buns and then we got the fang whatever. We asked for help and the girl working there shared what was vegan. Everything was great. We took some tofu home.
Tiny boutique store selling traditional Taiwanese tofu products and ready-to-eat street food.

Always love coming here to get their vegetarian rice rolls and salty soy milk! Cold soy milk also tastes great! I was happy to see they also offered vegetarian Zong-zi— wish they offered vegetarian 水煎包, too!

Need this back home! As a devoted vegan and tofu lover, I can say this place is amazing. There are so many vegan options and tofu options that are homemade and delicious. I tried their hot soy milk and veggie floss rice roll which were delicious. The soy milk had a strong taste that I really enjoyed compared to traditional store-bought soy milks. I've also never had veggie floss which was also great as well! I wish I had this back home so I could also buy their tofu and soy milk for home cooking!

The quality of purple rice roll was poor. The Chinese fried dough inside the roll was super hard to chew. The rice roll did not stick together and everything fell apart easily. I often came to buy this roll every weekend and I noticed that the quality gets worse recently.

We catered my kiddo’s birthday party with Tofu 101, and it was a huge success! The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating—putting together beautifully arranged trays and being flexible with pickup so I could deliver hot, delicious food to my guests right on time. We ordered the noodle salad, sticky rice, steamed buns, purple rice rolls, and steamed mantou—and I loved it all just as much as when I order individual items. The kids loved the food too! Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or catering a special event, Tofu 101 never disappoints. Highly recommend!

We were getting the same thing in T&T supermarkets but the quality here is much better. Everything is very fresh and most importantly made with heart!

The good is that the baos are great, and better than morning bites which are excellent. The pan fried buns 水煎包 are also surprisingly good despite sitting in a steamer. The Fantuan 饭团 are excellent, better than average in Taiwan with great texture to the purple rice.
My biggest problem is that the shaobing 烧饼 is pretty awful. I don't know if this is supposed to be taken home and reheated, but they are under baked and unseasoned and pale. A far cry from any I had in Taiwan. Improved when take home to toast.
I just got back from Taiwan so might be a little harsh.
Would I take my mom here? Yes but conditionally with select items.
Didn’t taste the others but the rice ball is not freshly made and stored in a box. When I had that it was kind of soggy. Btw there is no seat inside
Small shop (take out only) that has delicious fantuan. The donut inside was crispy even hours later!! Looking forward to trying the zongzhi next time.
Vegetarian options: Most items have pork in them. Not many vegetarian options.

I bought couple rice rolls, the rice was hard and the Chinese donut was soft, just tasted like leftovers. The rest of the food was overly salty and poor quality. Kitchen looked DIRTY!
