Water Grill - Bellevue

Food was good. Steak was perfectly cooked...after I sent it back for true medium-well, but the quality of the beef was outstanding. Not a huge deal but the croutons were a little stale on my Caesar Salad. The biggest negative was the service. Our waitress was less than engaged (and they weren't that busy) but, fortunately, one of the supervisors was amazing in making sure that my steak got back to me while it was still hot...you could tell that she really cared. I was grateful for that. Having worked in food service way, way back in my career, I can differentiate between “going through the motions” (for the sake of the tip) and “really caring” about how the customer feels about the service (for the sake of the experience).

Excellent vibe, food and simply the coolest new restaurant in Bellevue ! It would be great if they had a Happy Hour menu

Beautiful restaurant with creative and fresh seafood in the heart of Bellevue. Cozy aesthetic with leather seating and rich woods. The cold seafood platters are not to be missed!

This is the second time I've had a disappointing experience here. My halibut was overcooked and my husband's fish and chips were oily and overly battered. Won't be returning

I have been here 3 times and this was arguably the best visit. First, there is NO CORK FEE, so we brought two bottles of wine. Our waiter, Simon was very attentive but not overbearing. Bread was brought out within 5 min of sitting down. We ordered Calamari and Clams, very very yummy. I had the Halibut, I asked for a little more well done, it was cooked perfection. Other 3 members in our party had excellent food. We ordered dessert, mine was maple cheesecake, so good. Everything was really incredible.

We had the best time celebrating my friends birthday. We chose to share all food so we could try a little of everything. The bread is baked fresh and melts in your mouth. The clam appetizer had the most delicious sauce. The seafood platter was perfect because it had such a variety everyone found something they liked. The Filet Mignon was probably the best steak I have had in a long time. It was cooked to perfection and the flavor was out of this world.

Since it was our anniversary we had a card signed by the staff and rose petals on our table! Our server was fantastic and the food was too.

Incredible restaurant. Beautiful interior. Quick and polite service. Tasty and well cooked food. The best sourdough rolls I ever had. Fries are fresh and handmade. Lobster roll full of lobster. Worth every penny!

Yeah it's expensive but you get what you pay for. Great service. Drinks were well made. Food was really good. Oysters are fresh. Ciopino was really good! Sea bass and salmon was delicious. Crab cakes were a little bland but everything else was on point. Highly recommend.

The free bread was the best thing here sadly

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary today and the staff was wonderful. I made reservations on OpenTable and checked that we were celebrating today. When we got to the restaurant the manager went over to make our table special with rose petals and a signed card. The service was perfect and we enjoyed the lobster rolls. I ordered a specialty cocktail that I didn’t care for and ordered a different one - without me asking, they took it off our bill. They even treated us with a free dessert. We really enjoyed our time and the food was excellent!
