Google, this is a Wendy’s. Why am I prompted to review? No idea. It’s…a Wendy’s. My teen was hungry and it was close. The fries are, imho, better than a lotta fast food places, and these were served hot. The burger was fine. I do think $12 for a combo pf fast food is spendy. Server at the drive through was friendly.

My friends and I came to this Wendy’s and were immediately met with a difficult situation. There was a homeless woman blocking the drive thru area, so we drove up to the window to inform the workers so they could call the police or take care of the situation themselves. However, when we got to the window and told the lady our situation, we were met with aggressive and hostile behavior. She continuously lied to our faces, saying that she could only take our orders if we gave it through the speaker (it’s the same if we tell the order to her face or m through the speaker, it’s the same computer). My friend explained this to her and she started to get flustered because we knew she was lying. She immediately switched up and started to take my friend’s order, after saying she couldn’t. Then, I tried to order and she said “if you’re gonna laugh at me I’m not taking your order.” I tried to explain that I wasn’t laughing at her and she slammed the window shut and never took my order. She left for a little bit and got my friend’s order, but never thought to ask for mine because she thought I was laughing at her. We just left at that point because we didn’t want to cause any more trouble with her. I am utterly disgusted at this woman’s behavior; this is not what the service industry is meant for and she could have handled situation much better. If I was the manager at this store, I would never let this woman work at the window again. Fix your employees, and if you have a homeless woman at your window, call the cops instead of blaming the customers. Luckily, my friend enjoyed his food - hopefully she did not spit in it.
Why is breakfast only available in the drive-thru till 9am? Do you realize that you're next to a pretty nice hotel in downtown Bellevue, and nearby light rail and transit center. Lots of people here will be on foot, even at breakfast. 7:45 am, the dining room was already set, but at the drive-thru window the guy said "you need a car." I have a job. I can't sit around until 9am even if I wanted to. I'm not homeless, I would've just went in, ordered, then off to work. It's not so easy to just go somewhere else when I'm on foot.

I JUST moved into my new place and have no groceries- See that wendys is still open. Great! A mile or so walk in freezing cold, place a mobile order upon arrival... "drive thru" only available pickup option. Didn't think it a big deal to "walk thru" the drive thru- as litterally, what's the difference? Just that I'm not in a vehicle. However the manager/ window person straight up REFUSES to just open the window and give me my order that I already placed. Says "it's against policy." " What?" I say. So I can only buy food from you this late if I have a vehicle? Absolutely absurd and ridiculous! " Please sir, I'm really hungry, haven't ate all day, could you just please have it to me at the door then??" As... there's zero reasons that I can come up with as to why he could not make the executive decision to serve me... "I'm not allowed and will not to open this window and I'm not allowed to open the door". Effin REALLY guy?! So you're not about to open it to go home here in 15 mins? And there's litterally 5 other employees just either sitting and talking or cleaning and doing end of night duties. WHAT is the problem?? My safety? No, there's no other vehicles and I'm ALREADY there and ALREADY placed my order.... Is it YOUR safety and for some oddball reason, you beleive, with all 6 of you in there, that someone would moronically decide to hold up a Wendys On Foot or something?? Probably not that either- and you obviously and easily COULD have helped me in this one instance, but alas, you sir are such a humanitarian and caring individual (gobs of sarcasm) that you honestly couldn't care less, could you? Smh. Shame on you Mr. Wendys manager.
