Stopped by West Coast Tacos in Bellevue hoping for a bold, satisfying bite. The Birria Tacos, made with slow-cooked beef, had promising flavor, but the execution fell short. The meat was so fatty it was nearly inedible, which made the dish feel more frustrating than indulgent.

The accompanying consommé broth, typically the soul of a good birria, lacked depth and seasoning, it felt more like a side of warm water than a rich, savory dip.

On a brighter note, the shrimp quesadilla delivered. The shrimp was cooked just right, tender, not rubbery and the flavors were well-balanced. It’s a solid choice if you’re craving something coastal and comforting.

Service was friendly, and the vibe casual, but the inconsistency in the food makes it hard to recommend.

Employee working here (white guy) with glasses should be fired. Absolutely incompetent, does not acknowledge customers, and does not take orders. He’s clearly not built for a customer-facing role.at least 4 people in line left because he would not acknowledge them or talk to them to get their orders.

Horrible service. Will not order from this place again. The Samoan or Mexican guy is very rude. Tried to get his name but would not give it to me. Likely realized i plan to post a review.

The food is bland and completely white washed Mexican food. It’s overpriced.

I visited West Coast Tacos today (October 10th) for the first time while in town from another state and was really looking forward to trying their tacos. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing because of how rude the employee was.

When I walked in, there was no line. The guy working was turned around, doing something, but didn’t even look up or acknowledge me once. I waited a bit, then said “hello?” No response. I waited longer and said “hello?” again, still nothing. Finally, when I asked “Can you hear me?” he replied “I’m busy,” without ever turning around or making eye contact.

It was one of the rudest interactions I’ve ever had at a restaurant. A simple acknowledgment or “I’ll be right with you” would have made all the difference. I just left feeling completely disrespected and unwelcome.

Never going back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Terrible attitude and customer service.

Just ok. The Birra Tacos were just ok. Needs more seasoning.

I had tacos here several times and the food was fairly good. But this place is often unattended. As it's claimed as open, I would advise restaurant owner take some care of attendance.

Unfortunately this is the only Mexican option in the food hall. The place is constantly understaffed and incredibly slow. Consistently mediocre food. Lincoln Square could and should do better.

This guys have a unique talent in being both super slow and terrible cooks. You’d think it’s very hard to ruin something basic like chicken quesadilla, but they know how to do it. The chicken is just the worst tasteless thing I’ve ever tried, and the whole meal is soaked in oil. Compared to this, Chipotle’s quesadilla is like a gods food. On top of that, they’ve got absolutely no customers and still moving slow. What a waste of my time and money

Tacos were a bit mild, lacking flavor; service was super late.

First time here and glad I came. Portions are easily big enough to split. Food is good, service is fast and no scripted nonsense. Really liked it!
Thanks TJ!

Couldn’t order, chef never turned around. Nobody else was there. Just me standing for 10 minutes being ignored.
