Food has been decent but extremely overpriced. Tell me how a malatang place doesnt have rice? Ridiculous, and most malatang places have peeled shrimp. For the price, theres no changes or any kind of consideration. We go here still since theres not many near us in seattle

One of the best chains for make it yourself noodle soup. Basically you pick your ingredients and they cook it up for you. It's done by weight. Great flavors, I like the medium spicy soup.

You get to pick the ingredients you want and your soup base. They'll cook it for you. Sometimes they do get backed up and you'll have to stand waiting for a table to open up

legit my favorite hotpot experience in bellevue!! a) awesome if ur a little picky or ppl have dietary restrictions bc its self serve w lots of options, b) super cheap (comparatively to other hotpot places) and c) service is super friendly and btw d) they JUST UPGRADED A NEW SAUCE BAR AND IM SUPER EXCITED 🤩🤩 if u or someone you know has a mouth youd rly enjoy this place ☺️

Dietary restrictions: it’s self serve and there are options for:
- vegetarians
- vegans
- pescatarians
- ppl who can’t eat gluten
- and probably more it’s just idk a lot of types of dietary restrictions

Kid-friendliness: ur kids will love you more if you bring them here if they:
- are a picky eater
- like hotpot
- like ramen
- like spicy
- don’t like spicy
- they also have a boba and yogurt cube little store attached to the main malatang place so ur kids will probably like that too

Excellent spicy broth, very hearty. Service was excellent. We came here with our 4 year old and 1.5 year old, and the servers were really nice and helpful. It’s a great spot to come and not worry too much about making a mess if you have kids. Although soup is a bit hard for kids to eat without getting it everywhere!

We came here without knowing the set up. It’s self serve and you pay by the weight, they’ll cook up your selections in the broth you choose. The food was great, and it seemed quite fresh. I would come here again.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

My go-to and favorite malatang restaurant in the area!! I've perfected the art of choosing which foods to put in my bowl. I got the extra spicy flavor once and it was so good but on the side of too spicy for me so I prefer the very spicy instead! Definitely get the prickly ash oil dipping sauce for an extra numbing feeling. I actually never knew what that was before eating here.

Tip: you can weigh your bowl any time while choosing your ingredients- you don’t have to wait til the end to weigh.

I really really enjoyed this spot. Really fun choosing what you want in your bowl. Lot of noodles/starch options. Lot of protein options (tofu, meat, seafood, poultry). Want just one muscle or one meatball? Go for it! Want a lot of tofu? Totally up to you!
Lots of veggie options too. Tasted the beef broth and tomato broth and they were so flavorful. Love the sauce bar as well! I will be back when they have the Tom yum back in stock.

Their instruction is very unclear. We entered the store seeing that we need to wait for a table, so we did. And they asked us to give up our table because we have not paid for the food. But the sign did not mention order before getting seated. There’s a party ahead of us who did the same, but they don’t ask them give up their table, only us. This kinda differential treatment is unpleasant.

Food wise, the meat is much thicker than the Seattle location (not in a good way). But the taste is pretty good as usual and we like the value.

The refrigerators have sliding doors and it’s very inefficient because only one person can be picking at once, the line moves really slow during peak hour.

Came for the savory, numbing broth and I got exactly what I wanted :) I ordered mild with a little spice, dipped my meat and veggies in a sauce that tasted very similar to tahini and enjoyed every bite. Choose what you want from the fridge, pay and select what broth you want and grab a table. Super simple and very satisfying.
Very relaxed inside, tables are slightly too close but that's not a big deal also they sell boba.
My eyes were too big for my stomach and I ended up leaving with a to go bowl but I ain't mad about it :●》
Servers moved quick, bussing tables and answering any questions we had. I would come here again.
