Atmosphere was cool and the staff were kind! Grabbed to-go breakfast burritos this morning…our first time at Banter, and we will probably never return. We paid $30 for two hulking burritos - each containing 70% rice smooshed with avocado, 20% creamy chipotle sauce, 10% everything else. Unfortunately, I couldn’t describe it any other way than disgusting imo. I honestly threw away most of it. Disappointed

I don’t care how good the food is… waiting over an hour (after ordering) for a burrito is absurd. Waste of our afternoon. How are there 3-4 servers for a space this small? The inefficiencies were insane… we saw a guy behind the bar messing with the straws for line 10 minutes essentially doing nothing. We watched food sit there while 3 servers/hostesses walked around cleaning and such. Shouldn’t need 3 servers behind the hostess stand/tablet trying to coordinate orders and tables….
We got here ~12:30 pm on a Sunday and finally got our food at 1:50 pm for 1 burrito…..
Also…. There was a group that came in half an hour after us and their food came out before ours did (granted they didn’t get burritos…. Maybe the lesson learned is don’t order the burrito unless you’re willing to wait an hour and a half??)
Saving grace is that they were super apologetic and comped the meal because they realized how ridiculous our wait was. The burrito/food itself was decent.

Weekend lines are nearly insufferable and there's rarely room to dine in. If you can get a parking spot, a seat, and a burrito you're going to love it enough to brave the line again and again.

Used to be a good option for vegans. However, they are no longer vegan friendly. Asked to add tofu to the burrito, which they list as Available Vegan. Was told that they can move the egg and sub vegan cheese but would not add tofu. No clue why not, but at the end of the day, their call as it was mine to just politely leave.
There is one vegan option on the menu.
It’s sad that the kitchen has no utensils with which to cut their tofu into smaller sizes to fit the burrito. 🤣
