Asian 1 Restaurant Bellingham

My husband and I have been coming here for years. We LOVE it. The staff is always so friendly and kind, the food is always delicious. Every time we want to try a new spot in Bellingham we end up here because it’s always so good and a great time. The cocktails are delicious and priced good. Every special occasion for us is spent at Asian one!

Great food. Service could be faster

Enjoyed our lunch... Tom Kah and Swimming Rama were delicious. Nice that they have lunch pricing. Definitely on our go-to list!

Too much sugar in everything on the menu. I asked for sugar free tom kha they said they could do that but it was just as sugary as others at our table. Good quality food and prep does not need all the sugar. It cheapens it.

Asian 1 has always been our “go to” Chinese restaurant in Bellingham until last night. Ordered Mongolian Beef that came out with hard jerky like beef; we show have immediately sent it back; horrible. Yakisoba chicken totally tasteless with weird short noodles. Table behind use sent one of their dishes back and though crowded, waitress said “oh ya, lots of complaints tonight.” No sure who was managing or cooking last night but they need to be replaced immediately.

Also, though cute, Asian 1 needs to replace all their 1950,s “log” chairs. They are ridiculously heavy and VERY uncomfortable.

Ate there and food was not good. Ordered mongolian beef that was like jerky deep fried. Stir fried noodles were all broken up and soggy. Would definitely say that panda express at the mall is much better- sadly.
Asked to sit is a quiet area but told had to sit in area assigned to 2 persons despite it being a noisy and one of us is very hard of hearing diner. There were a number of empty tables at the time we were there.

Was surprised to swing by here and grab a dish. We ordered a few dishes and they were very bland and almost no flavor was shocked because it was very colorful.
