A decent dive bar experience. The drinks are good and the chicken strips with fries is excellent, I definitely recommend it with a side of honey mustard.

In a city that is flooded with hipster bars this place is where you can get a strong drink and be left alone.

How do you even give a place like this a bad rating? It's exactly what you'd expect it to be. Some regulars, people visiting Bellingham, industry people and it's very "hit or miss." Regardless, it's serves its purpose. My bartender was Keeva! Keeva is amazing in her own way and I dig it!

It's a dive bar. Don't expect anything fancy. The rating is because pool tables have always been open.

I enjoy going for the pool tables and appreciate the very friendly staff.

The bartender Don filled my cup almost to the top with Kraken. Then a splash of root beer. My kind of pour. Thank you for the good time and heavy drinks!

Backing my review down to 3 stars from 5. I've been coming here regularly for 10 years. Turnover in staff has reared its obvious inexperienced head, in combination with obvious pinball machine neglect.

When you find your people, your bartenders, your bad television, good baseball games, and purposefully bad choices on the jukebox, you find your place. I love the beaver and it's motley crew of regulars.
