You can tell walking into the restaurant that it's a failing business. It's quiet, messy, and the food takes forever. They messed my order up twice and at the end I just decided to leave. I overheard the waitress talking about one of the cooks creeping on her, and heard the owner (I'm assuming) tell someone they are trying to get rid of people who work there with kids because they aren't dedicated enough to the position.

Going back, l was a friend of Bob Kildall. Was a great person and a great account of mine 30 years ago , 10 years ago , not bad on going to the locations, tried over the years to support Bob's Burger and Brew, but l get it, things change. Tonight, Guarantee, won't go back to the Barkley's location, service in the bar to watch Thursday night football, awful, food, not good, second time in a month same thing, to be honest, Burlington is just ok. Blaine / Birch Bay just ok. To bad things change, but l'm old, and wish things would change. Understand somewhat, but Bob's on Barkley, ?! Might try Blaine again, Bob, you set the standards, oh well! I get it! Things change! Best of luck!

We have eaten at Bob’s for over 25 years. Recently it has become way overpriced and the service is pathetic. We just walked out after waiting well over an hour for food. Server took over 20 minutes to take our order and that was after going and asking the hostess what happened to them. Nobody checked on us and for the price, we expect more. Everyone was sitting around waiting forever for food with none seeming to come out. We left and went to COA who has awesome service and food for less! So disappointed.
Take out was slow! Fourty minutes, I was told 15. I just had an appetizer, it made me late for my next appointment.

Waitress was horrible. At the end as we were leaving the waitress pushed her electronics in my wife’s face and told her to push “this button”. It was the highest possible tip to give her. I tried to see what was going on and she would not let me see so I did not know until later on arrival at home, what had happened. I have never had a waitress stand over you concerning her tip, much less tell us what to tip. VERY unprofessional.

The food was ok but the service was horrible. We had to wait 40 minutes for the check and when my husband asked for it the waitress was very rude and snapped at him. Then when we paid the bill she gives us all 20s like they deserved that much of a tip!!

Longtime Bob's patron. First time trying this location and wow so disappointing. While the building is beautiful, having to walk past the giant pile of garbage spilling out of the dumpster area was off putting. We felt like we were inconveniencing the wait staff before we were even sat. Traditional wait times were kinda disregarded (even the busser offered assistance when they noticed our table lacking basic necessities) I did several years of food service and it was hard to find excuses for the overall poor experience. Food wasn't worth the price. So bummed. If you want the true Bob's experience, head down to Burlington or Marysville! Edited to add, always loved their calamari but this time it was just bland and boring. The side sauce has either changed or changed ingredients so it's fine but not great like it used to be.
