This restaurant really deserves five stars. I am being a picky butt and giving them four. The reason being is they longer offer two of my favorites, Moussaka and their very special dessert Baklava. They had it on their menu for years. I really miss it and I bet others do as
well. When we get take out, I always inquire about the Baklava just in case they might have made some. For many years, Cafe Akroteri has been my favorite Greek restaurant.
Went here as the Indian restaurant next door was closed. Awesome food and service, although the baklava was sold out. Definitely recommend...^^

We got there about an hour before it was due to close. There is off street parking which is nice since it’s downtown and parking is limited.
The waitress was very friendly and able to answer any questions we had. Due to the hour she did say they were out of a few menu items, but it didn’t impact us.
The food was very tasty and fresh. We would def go there again.

This place is delicious! We were pleasantly surprised to find out they have many gluten free and dairy free options! They are very accommodating. We will be back!

We had an incredible dining experience at Cafe Akroteri in Bellingham. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. We tried the falafel and several other vegetarian dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. This is easily one of the best Greek restaurants I've visited. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for an authentic and delightful dining experience!
Vegetarian options: Falafel and other vegetarian Gyro, Salads.
Parking: This place has a feee parking spot.

Popped in for lunch. Although we got the last open parking spot in their lot, the restaurant had customers at only two tables. Shame on you who use the lot and not patronize the restaurant.
We had a lovely lunch with attentive service. Our only regret was that the Greek potatoes were not available till after 4pm. That's OK, though. We will be back for those.

The food is "tasty." So well prepared and flaverfull. They make their own tazeky sauce, which is the best I have had in a long while. Also, there own salid dressing (which you can buy) for the delicious Greak salid.
All in all worth your time and taste buds. Plenty of parking also.

Small portions, poor quality food. Way too expensive. Don't even waste your time. Restaurant was empty. It took 2 seconds for them to get our food out and it tasted like it. There was mystery cheese on everything. The tzaziki sauce was a joke. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

The food was great. I was in a party of four and it was dinner time. I think there were only two other tables being waited on by our waitress. She turned our order in, and it did take a while for the other three to get their orders. It probably was at least 25 minutes. She started to lay my dish in front of me and knew immediately that it was wrong. She took it back to the kitchen and my friends ate while I waited another 25 minutes to get my meal. You can't beat the food but the length of time it takes to bring out the meals is much longer than most restaurants. It may be that there's only one cook.
Parking: If the restaurant was busy, the parking lot might be full. We arrived before 5:00 and there were only two cars in the lot. There were probably at least a dozen spaces available.

Food was delicious! They do need a bartender though because the waitress doesn't know how to make drinks. We are also pretty disappointed there was no baklava since that was one of the main reasons we came. Hopefully next time
