Took way too long to get us our food. The actual food was pretty good and the staff was neutral. We were sitting for 35 minutes waiting for our food and all we ordered was 2 main dishes.

So not only is their food absolutely amazing BUT you can also buy like all their salsas for about $8 and they will quite literally change your life. The Aji Amarillo Aioli makes just absolutely anything 1000x better; drizzle it on a bean and rice bowl, dip sweet potato/regular fries, have it drizzled on breakfast tacos or a breakfast hash, and that’s truly just the beginning of the endless possibilities. Omg also they have deals throughout the week on their sandwiches which are truly a bite of heaven. Can’t recommend enough.
Cafe Rumba is the place to go. Every party they celebrate is full of joy and good vibes. Peruvian and Hispanic culture all the way. Great music and food. Thanks everyone there!
I've never had Peruvian cuisine and I was looking forward to trying something new. I was not disappointed! My only recommendation, is bring your appetite and lots and lots of napkins. ?
I got the chicken, avocado, and bacon sandwich with a side of potatoes and a passion fruit juice. The sandwich was brimming with all sorts of amazing flavors. Everything melded together into a beautiful cheesy, messy bite. What didn't make it into my mouth, I happily ate with a fork. The potatoes were covered in a house made sauce that was fragrant and spicy. Very spicy, which I loved. The passion fruit juice was sweet and tangy. A very nice compliment to the rest of the meal.
I would definitely recommend Cafe Rumba and will definitely eat there again when I'm in town. It was really yum!

Stayed in Bellingham for a week and ate here 3 or 4 times in the meantime. I could eat my way through the menu and back again and not get sick of it. These sandwiches are packed with flavor! Make sure to stop by the bakery next door too for something sweet. This place is the bomb.

started with the potatoes and left the #4 pork sandwich alone... quite nice.especially the sauce. upon picking up the sandwich (the bread ... in house? delivered? excellent, either way), whatever goop was inside meandering it's way downward, so I quickly lapped it up and nearly peed myself it was such a treat... I bit. I chewed. I don't recall mich of the rest, bit my belly is still singing. that was the first go. Will definitely return.
