Absolutely fantastic food and service! I highly recommend Carnal. Food is on the moderately pricey side, but if you are a foodie, well worth it.
Had a reservation for 7 people. Sat down and got drinks ordered. The drinks took over 40 min and we got up and left. People that sat after us recieved drinks before us. We got up and left. Never go back again.
Carnal provided a truly exceptional dining experience recently. Every aspect was exquisite, from the unforgettable smoked beef fat fries to the perfectly executed entrées – the grilled skirt steak and brick chicken were both outstanding, making it impossible to choose a favorite. Even their thoughtfully crafted mocktails were a highlight.
We were greeted promptly and warmly, and taken to our reserved table. Drinks came out quick as well as starters. We ordered 5 total dishes to split between two people and it was a perfect amount of food. It's obvious there is a level of care and attention to detail. Already looking forward to the next date night we can have there!
Each of our menu selections were so good. We will definitely be back to try others. Great food, great service. Highly recommend.
The bar seats under the skylight provide natural lighting and a view into the wood-fired kitchen, making it the optimal choice for the gastro-curious. The bar has a remarkable collection of amaro, with something for everyone. Get the amaro flight and debate their uses with the bartender who curated the collection. You won't be sorry.
Branzino was great. Happy the salad is still available. Excellent cocktails. Didn't love the pasta (texture was very thick/chewy, and a little too much oil for me), but everything else was very good. Thanks for dinner :)
Went here for my 24th birthday, 1 cocktail, 1 mocktail, and 2 main entrees (just the meat) was 97$. The meats definitely had unique flavor and you can tell the chefs put a lot of effort into it, but for the small portions it doesn't add up. Maybe if I was 'wow'ed by more flavor It would've been a bit more worth it. My bone in pork chop was mostly fat and gristle. The hostess/waitress was very sweet though, Probably won't be coming back due to the prices, small portion, and mostly fatty meat.

$300 ticket for a 4 course prefix menu for two, plus two cocktails. This place has decent food but it is nowhere near worth the price of what we paid. You can find better food elsewhere for that amount of money. It's a nice establishment I think people should try at least once, but not worth it to go anymore than that.
Love this restaurant. We've never been disappointed with a meal. They always offer something unique as well.

I can’t stop thinking about my meal at Carnal—I actually dreamt about it after eating there! The black cod was absolutely incredible, cooked to perfection and paired with a sauce that took it to another level. Every dish was full of bold, rich flavors, and the sauces were always over the top in the best way possible—complex, vibrant, and expertly balanced. It’s the kind of meal that lingers in your mind long after you’ve finished. Carnal consistently delivers an unforgettable dining experience, and I can't wait to return!

The food used to be great there until they dropped a few of my favorite dishes. But the real problem is with rude service, something the management should be made aware of. When I expressed shock that one of my favorite things was no longer on the menu, our waitress said "well, you know, life is full of disappointments." She was serious. No irony at all. Gee, thanks, Mom! If I hadn't been waiting for several other people I would have left immediately. Customers DO NOT need life lessons from the staff! Not going there again. A real shame.
