First of all, if I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. When it comes to mexican food it has everything you could possibly want. The place is immaculately clean. I have no idea what the other reviews are talking about when they say not as good as they used to be. I ate there in 2012 and again today and it was completely amazing both times. What they give you for the prices is worth it many times over. I ordered the rancho deluxe and you know what I got? I got a burrito the size of a small infant filled with perfectly crisp chunk potatoes, beans, beef and super crisp and fresh lettuce and veggies with amazing sauces all throughout. You are not truly living unless you go to this place at least once.
Since moving away i haven't been there for 15 years. Was SO glad to see them still going strong. Awesome food. Go there!
I’m so disappointed! I grew up in Bellingham and loved coming for the potatoe burrito. I remember it as a juicy saucy potatoe beast of a burrito. The service was not great, I called in was put on hold for 5 minutes as they were talking in the background. Finally I ordered. Came in and the girl didn’t know how to run the card machine. But the worst part of it all was the old hash brown style potatoes that filled the burrito. It was so dry and so hard to even swallow. I guess people are right this is not the same place and the food is shot and the salsa bar is gone. I traveled from Vancouver wa and looked forward to this and now I’m just so disappointed.
Large servings of flavorful food and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Do yourself a favor and order a potato burrito! Amazing! Carne asada is rediculously good as well, kind and generous folks working there, you need to grab some friends and go now...
Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. The asada tasted like plastic and the chicken flaunts were soggy. Get it together.
Definitely not the quality that I remember. I assume that most of the changes were because of the covid proto calls the covid portal calls but I also don't expect it to be don't expect it to me this degraded compared to what it used to be degraded compared to what it used to be. The burrito that I ordered was barely able to be kept together and I am not and I am not used to it looking so poorly and big looking so poorly and being so poorly constructed I had to I had to actually deconstruct the burrito and eat it Is to be able to do so without making a mess. The cost is also 3 times what I remember it being. Closer to 50. Than 30. Big change in price not quality.
The tequila flights were so fun to do with friends! The bartender was cute and very entertaining
Portions are large and food was okay. I dont know that we'd come here again. I tried the chicken supreme burrito and had to pull several large romaine ends from it, which took up a ton of space in the burrito. Also, a lot of my tortilla was too hard so I ended up pulling a lot off and mostly eating the inside with a fork. I tried the carnitas taco and did like how soft the flour tortillas was. We had a to-go order and they didnt give us any sauce, which i was definitely missing. The beans were pretty dry so I didn't eat those beyond one bite. Husband did like his chimichanga.
I come to this place regularly to get some good food and de-stress. The price is right and it's very filling--the Potato Burrito is my favorite! Plus, the staff are always nice and friendly. The business supports messages and causes I care about as well. I highly recommend it!

Always good burritos here, I have probably eaten over a hundred. Potato, poseidon and carnitas are my favorites.
It’s embarrassing that they have a “Bellingham’s best burrito” sign in front when I could've made a better one by puking in a tortilla and wrapping it up. We spent almost $50 on something you can find in the grass at a dog park. We also paid like $5 for an “appetizer” of chips that came out at the same time as the food. It almost feels like you’re standing on the Seattle Gum Wall when you walk in. Also, make sure your reflexes are good bc your drink will probably slide off the slanted table. BYON because they will not give you napkins with your food. Also might wanna bring some utensils too because are not provided as well.If you like wasting money and eating chalk hit this place up. The experience was laughable. Went to taco time after.
We liked the food, just didn't love the main dish, the Potato Burrito. But overall great! Loved the rest of the food and the decor was adorable!
One of the latest disappointments in downtown Bellingham. The atmosphere is the same but the food quality has suffered of late. Did get a super big burrito but its tastes have suffered.
Huge portions, delicious food, friendly service! Potato burrito IS worth all the hype, but don't sleep on the poseidon burrito or the taquitos!
