I went there at about 915pm on a Thursday night, I had a deluxe cheeseburger fries and IPA draft. There was a beautiful female server who is definitely on top of her game. Highly recommended it

I like this spot but there are two things they could do to earn my steady business. The pool table lights are way too dim and the balls are ready to be replaced. It's an added bonus to have pool tables at all but these are relatively easy and inexpensive fixes. I really like this spot but I primarily go to bars because there are also pool tables as well as the food and drink. The food and booze here is perfectly fine. Nice, open, dive bar atmosphere. I like it. This place is the closest pool table to my house and I really want to come here but I have to drive somewhere else. My business alone would probably pay for all of these things in a couple months. Hopefully, they see this and hook it up; it would make me a happy man.

Didn't get food, but it looked good and they had a decent menu. It was busy because there was a retirement party, but was still able to get a seat and was served quickly. Staff was friendly.
What a great bar, fantastic and friendly service. Super delicious food. The cocktails are cold and well made. The TVs are on all the time and they don't mind switching the channel and letting you watch your game! I highly recommend the Cocoanut Grove to all visiting Bellingham.

The owner of the bar served us and he was grumpy and rude. I only want to go back because the beer is so cheap and they have pool, the owner needs to sort out what he wants to do in his retirement, clearly bar tending isn't it.

Laid back joint for a drink or 6 for regular workin stiffs. A lot of TVs with sports on but the volume’s usually off if that ain’t your bag, so that’s nice. Some taps rep a local and other breweries with that IPA stuff so the local contingent of nerds can get their beaks wet too, but foodies will be disappointed with the simple fair, so nuance the living hell out of your grub elsewhere ya hedonistic geeks.

I love this bar most for its friendly staff. It's the kind of place where it's easy to watch a game, grab some good (and drink), and hang with the locals. I stumbled on this place one weekend and it quickly became one of my favorite watering holes.
