I hired Danielle’s Back East Barbecue to cater a holiday party, I signed a contract and even offered to pay a deposit to which she declined. I clearly communicated the time, day and location of the event. The day of the event comes around and she did not show up. I tried to call her and she declined my call asking that I text instead. I texted her multiple times but never got a response. We had to order pizza instead and our guests were starving. Very disappointed in her service. I would not recommend working with her in the future.

Danielle catered our daughter’s wedding this weekend. From the organized tasting, to the communication up to the wedding and the wedding itself, Danielle was kind, got back to me in a timely manner and was punctual and professional during the event. About the food….absolutely OUTSTANDING! Everyone raved about it! Thank you so much, Danielle!! We’ll be seeing you again at Wander Brewing?

Tried their chicken tender mac n cheese. It's really good. I'll definitely get it again.
Picky people like me: mac n cheese really good. Couldn't taste any flour, and the cheese wasn't excessive. I won't order from anywhere if I taste flour. I have a sensitive stomach, so grease and dairy in certain quantities a no. Chicken is a little bit greasy for me, but again, I have stomach issues. It pairs well together with mac n cheese. Plus, it doesn't taste like fryer. I'd order them again. (It's really not as greasy as I'm making it sound.) A lot of different sauce flavors for pairing. I'm pleasantly surprised with the blueberry Balsamic. It's going with my chicken. Carolina sauce is a good recommendation with mac n cheese. I recommend checking this place out. I want to add that this is the best and only mac n cheese I like.

Parking: It's best to get there early. Fills up fast.

Took the plate with 3 meat, wasn't expected chicken fingers in a BBQ plate, that was a bit disappointing. The brisket and the pork were good. Their prices were pretty competitive

Bellingham is known in part for their fantastic breweries. It’s true. Wander may be the best of them all. All of their beers are really delicious and they generally have great food trucks as well. If you’re going to hit the breweries in Bellingham, make sure to visit Wander.

Just tried the brisket plate, damn that was good. The meat was so tender and not too much fat for my preference and the sauce I chose was bussssssin. Sucks that they're only on my side on Friday. Welp I look forward to next Friday to try other items.

The hunt is over! I've come to expect mediocre barbecue in the Pacific Northwest after 8 years living in the South. But man, this place scratches the itch. My wife rarely eats red meat and she was wolfing down the brisket. This is the kind of barbecue that needs no sauce as the meat is full of flavor and oh so tender. And not to fear, the sides were not neglected with some top notch beans and corn, hush puppies, and potato salad (the stick to ribs kind, not the runny mayo kind). Doesn't hurt that there is a pretty darn good brewery right next door either.Heartily recommend to folks looking for the good stuff--try "The Entire Farm" for the full experience.

Back East BBQ catered our wedding. The BEST. They were hands down the easiest vendor to work with. Our guests still talk about the food (It’s been a year). Exceptional food made by awesome people. So thankful we can still have it regularly at Wander.
