I loved this place when it was Diamond Jim's and it's only gotten better. I had the BBQ Brisket Hashbrowns this time around. The plan was to save half for later, but it was too good. Like pick up the plate and lick it delicious. The staff were cool and the appropriate amount of attentive.

My only suggestion is to add a black velvet portrait of me on one, or more, of the walls.

There was a short wait at 9 a.m. on a post-turkey day...

Good is usually really good but the last two times we've been there we have had horrible service. The most recent time we walked in and stood there for a couple minutes with all of the servers looking at us but saying nothing. So we signed the wait list and sat down. Two more parties walked in after us and not only were acknowledged but offered the bar seating and there was a total of 5 people that got seated before we were even talked to. I’ve been here a couple times now. The food is good and tastes fresh. I had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits had a little crunch to them and were delicious. The gravy was a little spicy for my tastes but I think it also had bacon fat which helped the fact it was a little light on sausage. When we visit this area we will come here again.
