The entrance is a little lack luster but the seating area is warm and nice and the pin ball machines can be a bit loud but nothing to be frazzled about.
The menu is simple and to the point, 5 star!
Got spicy burgers and the Street Fries. They don’t skimp on the burger and ours were grilled so had that perfect crispy edge. They burgers were close to a smash burger, which are my favorite.
The fries were also 5 star. Will be ordering those again!
Overall, yes, go here and get a meal!

I waited 40min for a take-out order, ordered at 5:15pm and didn’t get the food until 5:55pm, they weren’t busy either. Food wasn’t even hot and the burger was soggy, bun was stale. Horrible.

It is nearly impossible to find a burger place that serves up freshly made burgers. Doug's does. They give a generous and delicious fresh burger, on a real toasted bun, fresh lettuce, and garnish. The fries are delish as well, hot and just crispy yet tender. My only change to the menu would be a burger for seniors that isn't so big; I never thought I would say that about a hamburger restaurant! You will see me again, Doug. Terrific for B'ham. The picture shows the delicious homemade burg, just before I ate it...not frozen patty that is shoe leather, or tiny patty hidden in a huge bun. An honest burger place, easy in out, delicious.

I’ve heard good things about Doug’s Burgers so I took my girlfriend there for the first time the other week to check it out.
I consider myself to be a connoisseur of the burgs so naturally after browsing the online menu at an establishment named Doug’s I had to try the “Doug Burger”, but I also wanted some contrast so I decided I’ll order a classic for myself to enjoy later.
We got to Doug’s for our first time and were excited to order our burgers. 2 burgers for me, because I love burgers so much, and one for the lady.
Unfortunately the girl working the counter wasn’t exactly working the counter. She was sitting on the prep table in the kitchen with her back turned to the counter. We waited for several minutes before having to ring the bell. The girl hopped off the prep table and shambled toward us. “What do you want?” she asked. I was immediately unimpressed.
As planned I ordered two burgs for myself, one Doug, one classic to go, and one classic for the girlfriend. Oh, and we thought we’d try the street fries as well. She took our order and we took our seats. Not long after she brought out two burgers, one Doug, one classic. We were short a burger to go so I reminded her of our order. “Okay” is all she replied. She didn’t ask for a name for the order. We ate our burgers and street fries. A saucy and interesting take on fries. It tasted like I was eating sushi with fried potato instead of fish, not terrible, interesting. The burger was good, probably better than most burger joints in Bellingham. We took our time enjoying our meal over the next twenty minutes or so. I was expecting my to go order to be dropped off at some point within those twenty minutes. It wasn’t very busy, this was around 2:45 in the afternoon on a weekday. We finished our meal and went to check on the to go order but unfortunately, yet again; the girl was sitting on the prep counter with her back turned. I rang the bell again. She didn’t turn around. This time the cook came out to help us instead of the girl sitting on the prep counter. I let him know I had a classic to go, he asked what name it was under, I said “I didn’t give a name for the order, she took the order from our table”, in which he replied, “What, you don’t know your name!?” while flinging his arms up like someone from an angry American Italian gangster movie. I said louder while pointing at the sitting prep table girl, “I didn’t give my name, she took my order, one classic burger to go”. The cook got the girl’s attention and asked her if the single classic burger to go was indeed our burger. She confirmed this and the cook shoved the bag toward me.
Although the Doug burgs are better than the average Bellingham burg I will unfortunately not be supporting these burgs. The humans there ruined a good burg experience. Maybe they were just having an off day, or maybe Doug’s needs new employees. Boo Doug’s, boo.

Found this place by sence of smell driving by and it hit my noise so hard i had to go so i Went here with 2 friends the spicy burger was amazing the street fries had a great taste and im definitely going back as soon as i can.

Such a cool spot with a back bar and arcade. The food is hit or miss. The burgers are always delicious but I was disappointed by the chicken sandwich. I like my sauce to cover the whole bun. Breading was a bit dark, so I think mine got overcooked. The service tho is always nice tho.

Sometimes things happen and I will not judge my experience on only 1 visit.
The burger had no flavor. $23 freaking for a horrible burger. I have no idea how others say it’s the best burger in town freaking disgusting. Go to accomplice instead.

This place has gone down hill since opening , from rising the prices almost weekly to changing menu size on items without mentioning and still charging full price. The food is bottom of the barrel ingredients. I will not be coming back ever again mainly do to service. They absolutely do not pay attention to walk ins or the counter. Ended up having to walk up to the counter after waiting 35 minutes for a togo order and ask if my food is ready... It was they just didn't bother calling the name on the order or saying anything. Watched them just throw it on the counter and let it sit there.
