Fantastic tamales and beer in Bellingham! I’ve been in town for work for the past week and some friends of mine recommended this place. The tamales, especially the Salsa Verde Chicken and Roja Pork were just perfect. I paired it with the Conejo Azteca Dark Lager. I will be going again when I return.

Really good food and atmosphere. It was a sunny day, perfect to sit out on the covered patio. Chips were thick, served with a salsa that had good heat. A great selection of veggie options, I had the grilled mushroom tacos and they were flavorful and delicious. The veggie tamales were also good, with a soft tamale shell and grilled veggies filling.

second time there, couldn't pass up on the nachos since the first time they were so good but also wanted to try a tamale so my friend and I split the small nachos and then a tamale plate...still too much food but so good! Will make great leftovers. next time I'll try tacos

Their little carnita taco things were friggin delicious, they do their chimichurri so well i don't Care it's all up in my teeth (Worth it!) It's smaller, but by no means cramped at All! They have properly spaced tables inside, And picnic tables in a covered area outside, no bumping into the people at the table behind you! Plenty of parking too, score! I went there with my dad, the lady that took our order was absolutely Awesome, all 3 of us were chatting about how Dolly Parton is a fantastic human being and a national treasure (they have a picture of her on their tip cup, Love it!!)

Interesting footnote - if youre ever needing a car checkup, and youre hungry while you wait, it is also right across the street from Olsen Auto Body and Collision, they do quality work, I'll personally vouch for them too!

My girlfriend has worked here for a little while now, and she seems to enjoy it. The food is tasty, and the beer they brew has its fans ( I haven't tried myself as I don't drink). Lots of vegan options, and their tacos and handmade tamales are very popular. Always busy and always packed with people, which is really my only criticism. While there is quite a bit of outdoor seating, seating indoors is quite limited, and when it does fill up, personal space can be hard to maintain.

I really wish I could give a concern free review. However, that was not our experience with the Bellingham location. We placed an online catering order. Their communication was terrible and almost non-existant. I called and was told that I would get an email soon. No email. When I arrived in town, I went directly to the location. I was very concerned because our party was the next day. The staff was very nice and as helpful as they could be, but their manager was NOT communicating with them or me. Finally, at 9pm, the night before our party, I was told to just handle this as a take out order. We did and managed to get the tamales.
We ordered the chicken, pork, and beans and cheese. The filling of each were absolutely delicious. However, a) they were so lopsided that the filling was falling out of them and b) the masa was so thick and dry it was impossible to eat them without drowning them in some kind of sauce which they did not offer/provide or made the whole ordering experience so difficult, we didn't realize sauce could be ordered.
So, overall, it was a lot of money to spend for having to practically beg for our food and then not be able to fully enjoy it.

I rarely go to a restaurant more than 3 times. Well, I’ve been here 7 times now. Enough said.

The nachos were the best I've ever had. The queso was delicious and the perfect consistency. It also helped that there was a lake of it underneath the house made chips. It's a cool place and has tons of dog friendly outdoor seating. The food didn't come out super quick but it was busy, even on a Sunday evening.

BEST NACHOS! I have ever had. Even if you don’t often order nachos, which I usually don’t if I’m in the US because they are usually a sweaty mess. These are a class of goodness of their own. PLEASE HAVE SOME.

Always delicious, welcoming, and festive. Tamales, tacos, beer, margs, chips & guac—you’ll be craving them all. Great patio vibes in summer. Thoughtful curation of the details that many places miss: blankets for sitting outside, supplies in the bathrooms, water station, signs for composting. Family friendly and overall stellar community spot. Meant to take more photos, but it vanished VERY quickly.
