We had a lovely evening. Amazing cocktails. Attentive and knowledgable staff. The bartender even gave us some tips for making cocktails at home. Beautifully made black cod. Best fries ever! Great burger. Dessert to die for. Copper River salmon cooked to perfection. We'll be back, many times.

A really lovely experience from beginning to end. Food was delicious, service was terrific. The Duck confit was such a welcome and delightful menu choice and tasted like I was at a much higher end restaurant. Very bistro vibe for the center of Fairhaven. LOVED ESTELLE.

The chef is amazing! Keep up the good work under the new owner. Estelle's has evolved into the best Bellingham restaurant.

Though not the same choice of entree, this time(2nd) was disappointing. Duck confit was maybe 4 0f 5 stars (the duck itself), but sat upon a sauce (aoli?) that was the same as under under my beet salad. Why? Was there extra in the refrigerator? Uninspired. Given the lack of competition in Bellingham, they'll probably hang on, but, if they do, it will be because of their beverages. Good bartender. Server, meh.

I have been to Estelle many times before, and I usually get the Duck Confit, but last night the duck was dry, overcooked, with a small glop of hardened sauce, and the portion of duck was half the size it used to be for the same price as before. The service was subpar as well. I wanted to order a glass of wine with dinner but I never got the chance, and we ran out of water for the table before the end of the meal, due to an inattentive server. I am hoping that this was just an off night, every other time I have been here the food and service have been outstanding.

First but not last visit for wifes birthday. Music was not distracting, food (duck) surpassed hopes and we were not rushed by our wonderful server (Tatayana). Relaxing ambiance and a staff who seemed to genuinely enjou working together as a team.

We had the hamachi crudo and the chicken liver mousse, both delicious. I had the black cod, melted in my mouth delicious. Will definitely go back!

Everything we tried was excellent. Smaller eccentric menu but very tasty. Great drink options, cool vibe.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Although, I wish they offered more vegetarian options; if they did, I’m sure I would be a regular.

I didn't think it was possible but the new ownership has leveled up all of my favorites! I've loved Estelle since they've opened but its better than ever these days! Its consistently fantastic and my most recent visit was better than ever - excited for the new menu additions and the consistency of all of the classics on the menu!

Always a great time at Estelle's but tonight I was moved to write a review as everything was just over the top - probably due to the new owner Davis' touch! Food, cocktails, wine, ambiance, service (thanks Tatiana for being such a fun part of our evening 😉)❣️
We had the best french fries outside of France with our cocktails (negroni and a manhattan - hats off to Ray the mixologist) followed by the beet salad, roasted carrots, and black cod! We wish we had room for Tatiana's special dessert but our hands were tied - too full! We couldn't ask for a better evening on all counts! Can't wait to return Sunday during Ski to Sea and try Nadine's empanadas! What a gem and how lucky we are to have Estelle in our town 🙏

I would venture to say that this is the best meal we've had in Bellingham in 16 years living here. We've eaten here a number of times before, but it had been a while before this recent visit. And it was better than we remembered it. We had a couple of starters--steak tartar, the salad (always has been wonderful here), some bread rolls--and I had the lamb loin in eggplant puree and the missus had the black cod in a sunchoke puree. My description isn't nearly as appetizing as it tasted, but everything was just about perfect. Black cod FTW and the eggplant puree with sichuan peppercorns and pickled rhubarb was both unusual but not too far out. It was just right in my mind. Also enjoyed the creative cocktails and had a wonderful chocolate dessert to top it all off. Everybody did well in the serving department.
