Really enjoyed our experience! New to town and I am excited to have a go-to restaurant like this in the Bellingham area. Polished design, very attentive service, unique menu (the right size for me as I don't like large menus) and every dish was delicious and integrated well together. The carrot dish was our favorite appetizer. Minor improvements would be to serve less sauce on all the entrees (duck, steak & fish) as the meat was cooked perfectly but overshadowed. Entrees were a little salty overall, but did not notice that on the appetizers. Definitely recommend and will be back!Dietary restrictions: Most of the dishes were gluten free which was great!
Had the sole and maitake mushrooms with parsnip hollandaise and they went waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too hard on the hollandaise. Iirc there were like 5 globs of the sauce on there and I thought there were poached eggs on the plate at first. Personally I think the hollandaise was just gross; maybe it was because I couldn’t get a bite without it but there was something so processed about the flavor that just didn’t make sense to me. The closest I got to describing to the flavor is comparing it to Miracle Whip but there’s something else familiar about it that I can’t quite put my finger on. Also, the mushrooms were kinda overcooked which is something I’ve never experienced before. I think they picked the wrong kind of mushroom but I don’t have a good idea for a different side.Other than that, the duck confit my partner got was really tasty and the actual dining room was pretty nice. Nadine was a great server and had some really good suggestions for food and drink as well as leftovers. If you’re going to go for dinner either go like a hour before sunset or at sunset or try to get a booth. The center tables will have the sun directly in someone’s eyes depending on the time of year.

The menu was limited, the food was way too salty. Small portions for the high price. The service was slow. We ended up going to another restaurant when we left.

Shout out Tyler for the great service and recommendations! We tried everything on the menu and every single thing was delicious. Out of everything, my favorite was the carrot appetizer and the mussels. No joke everything was on point. Will be back again:)

Excellent service. Love the cocktails. Amazing Caesar, beets, hangar steak. Really great architectural details. Always consistent. My one and only comment would be to consider serving spoons or have some other sharing solution - we always get multiple dishes and it's awkward with just a knife and fork.

This was our third visit to Estelle and it was outstanding. Carrots were delicious as were the mussels, hangar steak and dover sole. I'm not normally a fan of crème brûlée; however, their version was very good. We had a table for four tucked into a quiet corner which definitely helped as it can be noisy.

Great foodie restaurant by the same folks as Carnal. Excellent taste, presentation, and all, in Fairhaven.
Excited to be back at Estelle's after their foray into tapas. They seem to be back to more lovingly prepared french items. We ordered frites, mussels, and confit. The mussels were the highlight and we needed an extra order of the sourdough toast to sop up the delicious sauce. Shoestring Frites are good, but a tad disappointing after their formerly epic wedge 'potates.' Ah, the confit. Very delicious crispy skinned duck legs (2) but alas not quite the classic fall-off-the-bone confit. Enjoyed the side of radicchio which went really well dipped in the sauce for the duck. Service was attentive. We were told we would be comped the last bit of wine in the last bottle of Cote de Rhone but were charged for another glass. We were happy with the dining experience at that point to not mind.
What a beautiful French style bistro. Me and my wife went there for date night and were very happy with the meal and service. We had the burger and steak frites which were as good as any French bistro I tried in Paris or London when I used to travel for work. I am so glad this group is opening more restaurants in Bellingham as we were really lacking this level of food. Will definitely be going back for with my wife for date night!

Service was great our plates were taken away as soon as we finished; very attentive staff for how busy it was, food was great, drinks were great. It was a little noisy for our taste but I also understand we went later on a Saturday. They've also been really popular since that article was published. Would go back!

Food was amazing!! I have been frequenting Carnal since the beginning and all during Covid. When I heard there was a new restaurant Estelle, I had to go. It was phenomenal from the presentation, quality, to the uniqueness, and flavor it was beyond good! The dishes looks simple but are anything but. There is so much flavor and quality and it shows!
