Five Columns absolutely nailed it! I had the gyro sandwich with their amazing homemade fries and a glass of Greek wine-everything came out hot, fresh, and in huge portions. The service was exceptional from the moment I walked in, super friendly and fast, and the restaurant was spotless. The gyro was so good as you can see from my photo-totally worth it! If you want authentic Greek food that hits the spot every time, Five Columns is the place to go.

I really wish I lived near Bellingham, because I would visit this restaurant often. We had a party of 9 and four of us ordered a gyro and agreed that it was the best gyro we've ever had. It was a perfect ratio of sauce to meat and very delicious. Others in our party enjoyed a few of the pasta dishes and also desserts. The server was very accommodating and friendly, and we found out later that it was a family-owned restaurant. Please frequent this restaurant if you're in the area. The mediocre burger place next door was way busier, which is really sad.

This is a new favorite of ours. Started life as a steakhouse, and it shows. Currently our favorite place to come when we’re craving a steak. The saganaki is to die for, every Greek dish we’ve tried has been exemplary, and the family that runs it are so warm and friendly we feel like old friends already.

We’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and I’ve never had a bad experience. On the contrary, every time I eat here, I leave satisfied and happy I went. Recently went on a Saturday evening. Quick and kind service, delicious souvlaki, and a tranquil, relaxing environment. This, to me, is Bellingham’s best Greek restaurant.

Great Greek food! Very friendly staff and they're also a family run business. So, of course I was happy to support a local small business! My only disappointment was no moussaka.

Way too expensive nothing to write home about. I won't go there again

A fabulous Greek restaurant with authentic cuisine. Very family friendly. All staff was so nice. We were greeted by what seems like the family that owns the restaurant and they were so warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and tasted like passed down recipes with Great Grandmas secret ingredient in every dish. Will be back!

I have always appreciated this restaurant, although my visits have been infrequent. I returned last week and, despite my concerns about the elevated prices, I found the food to be an excellent value. The $26 vegetarian plate is pricier than its meat counterpart, yet the generous portions of potatoes, spanakopita, and the substantial salad that accompanies the meal justify the cost.

The primary drawback is the restaurant's outdated appearance, which desperately requires renovation. Many aspects, including the bathroom facilities, seating, and tables, are of poor quality and lack proper maintenance. However, given the current struggles of Bellingham's restaurant industry, it seems unlikely that they will have the resources for improvements. I am thankful that Five Columns remains in operation, especially since my favorite Greek restaurant, Mykonos, faced significant challenges and ultimately closed. I sincerely hope for the continued success of Five Columns.

A recommendation I would propose is to implement a Student Special for individuals possessing a student ID, whether from high school or college. This initiative could feature smaller portion sizes accompanied by lower prices, thereby attracting more patrons who may hesitate due to concerns about value for money. Additionally, this approach could appeal to a demographic that requires more affordable dining options, potentially leading to an increase in overall customer attendance. A student menu or a value menu or a similar concept could effectively serve this purpose.

Had the BEST made in house Fetachini Alfredo tonight! Welcoming hostess & server. I'll definitely be visiting this place again. Atmosphere was relaxing.

Reasonably good food, good size portions. Friendly servers. The chicken souvlaki had a great char broiled taste to it.
