Best gluten free tacos and tamales in town. Super tasty, juicy and delicious. Portions were very generous as well.

food was really good, though a little pricey, small menu. not a long wait to get the food after ordering... service...could have been a little better or done differently it was a lot of getting up and down to grab our food, drinks, napkins/ silverware ect... it was open seating, and all the open tables were pretty dirty, and when asked to clean them we were given a wet rag to do ourselves. interesting spot.

This counter-service tamale place is a great casual space. The folks taking your order are great but the food delivery area and announcement situation could use a rework.

Delicious! Loved it! Great vibes, inside and outside, lots of seating. We tried a lot of very tasty tamales and margaritas, can’t wait to go back !

They are SO sweet here, and have amazing food and blankets on the benches of the wooden tables outside, which makes it less hard and cold to sit on for a while! I really recommend coming here. :)

This is an amazing 🫔 joint with a bonus amazing micro brewery. It's a new favorite must stop in Bellingham.

Love this place - the tamales were delicious - had the chicken chile verde, chorizo and cheese, and salsa roja pork along with chips and guac. Be sure to get the tamales smothered in red sauce. Their guac is fire as were the picked veggies. Pair it all with a beer from El Suenito🍺Will def be back!

We had a great experience at Frelards! Our party all got tamales and were really happy with them! The portions were large, great flavor and we felt like it was a good value. Especially reccommend the vegan plate (fajitas tamales with rice and beans). Will definitely come back next time we are in Bellingham!

Great place for Celiacs!! The food is great and comes out quick. It’s also really filling, you can definitely share one entree with someone if you’re not feeling too hungry!

I LOVE this restaurant. As a Lactose Intolerant Celiac this place has proven safe for me. My body and my taste buds really love the food here. I’m very grateful to have somewhere I can eat out at, here in town. Thank you!

Very machine-noisy place. You order at a counter, get your own water, get your own food when called, and bus your own table when done. Thus, why are tips requested? Also, what Mexican restaurant doesn't offer a beef option? This place.

Overrated, mostly masa, tamales, we had a poor experience with the atmosphere and service and felt the tamales were very overpriced for what they are.
