We were headed to Stones Throw for a growler and were pleasantly surprised that Galley2Go was the food truck for tonight. We ditched our original plan for dinner and had a fun Friday night meal. The soft shell crab ? burger was crispy, well seasoned and even had an heirloom tomato ?! Lobster roll did not disappoint. We even had the coconut prawn appetizer and the sauce it came with was the perfect accompaniment. 10/10 will go again.
I went up to their food truck and asked how many coconut prawns were in the appetizer vs. the basket. The woman working the ordering station thought probably 8 but asked someone who seemed to be somewhat in charge how many were in the basket. The man then said “that depends on how generous the tip is”. When I asked him what a generous tip was, he just shrugged and said “generous” and that they’d been working so hard today. Apparently you might get 8 or you might get...
Perfect for the first sunny Saturday of the year! The onion rings were to die for! 12/10 would order again. The fish and chips were also delicious and a good amount of food. The halibut is worth the splurge, the flavor is amazing!
