Amazingly friendly staff and happy to help you pick out from their wide variety of sandwich options. We got the Italian and Rueben which were both delicious. Fresh bread and flavourful meats! We got the broccoli salad and Banana Pudding as sides based on the reviews and they did not disappoint! Highly recommend if you are in the area and need a quick and fresh bite!Kid-friendliness: We had our 2yr old with us and no complaints from staff or anyone in restaurant as he was a little wild. Got a booth and our own space. Easy going environment!

Outstanding…. Simply outstanding. A fantastic family owned deli/sandwich shop owed by a lovely husband and wife who are the only 2 folks working there since Covid. The sandwich choices are unlimited. The food is fresh and delicious (the marble rye is to die for) and everything from the explanation of the sandwich board (which can be overwhelming) to the speed of service is top notch. Forget the chains or any other restaurant options in Bellingham and go to Gabdolfo’s!…. Almost forgot this and I’d be remiss in not highlighting the banana pudding. It’s made on site and definitely is a MUST ORDER item. I’m serious!!

Best sandwich in Washington! When I walk in, Tina always knows me by name and my order. Always the freshest ingredients and bread. So so good. You get a lot for the price they charge. Loaded with meats and veggies. Highly recommend if you have never been. Love all the LEO stuff around the restaurant.

We stopped by for the first time two days ago and our food was absolutely amazing. I love a good sandwich and I quickly found out nowhere I have been in Whatcom County or Washington state really has a better or comparable sandwich to Gandolfo's. The quality of the ingredients is top notch and couple that owns the place is very nice, respectful and happy to help! We liked it so much we came back today which is what reminded me to write this review. It's no short drive for us (around 45 mins each way) but we will be coming back on a regular basis. I do not write many reviews, but this place definitely deserves a good review and to be shared far and wide.

LOVE this spot ! I live in Canada about 45 min drive away and it’s worth it to come here just for these sandwiches - the Italian is my fave and this one pictured the knuckle sandwich was so so good too enough to feed 3 people ! The broccoli salad and banana pudding is incredible also ! Can’t wait to come back and try more things

Amazing pastrami. The folk that own the place are great people. The sandwiches and salsa are simply the best around. This is a hidden gem. Great positive vibe as well.
This is by far the best pastrami sandwich I’ve had! I called and placed my order let the owner know that was coming from Mount Vernon. When I walked in she knew who I was and had my order all packed up. Super friendly and great customer service. When I got back to Mount Vernon our sandwiches were still piping hot! Definitely recommend!! Thank you for a delicious lunch.
