With a smaller menu, remodel underway, and some new faces at the register - I was a bit apprehensive about what to expect with this restaurants recent changes. I had to leave a review because this has been, and will continue to be, the only spot I care to go for chicken teriyaki. The dish, alongside portion size, is exactly what I've had in the past and have come to expect from Hanas - and I was so pleasantly surprised at that!I've seen some complaints about the increase in price and my comment is that I'm order to turn a profit, every restaurant has had to raise prices to compete with inflation. The fact that this dish was at it's lower price point for sooo long is worthy of recognizing ?The teriyaki dish is $13.99 - and with the portion size, more than fair. I can easily feed two people with one order. So realistically you're looking at about $7 a meal for really delicious take out! 5+ stars ?

I was excited to try this place because my college kid had been here several times and loved it for their good, cheap eats, friendly atmosphere, and food selection. Unfortunately, we did not have that experience today. Maybe it’s under new ownership with the same name? Anyway, it was disappointing. The place seemed clean enough and the cashier was friendly but the selection was greatly diminished. Only one vegetarian selection so I got the veggie yakisoba and my kid got the chicken yakisoba. Both were overly sweet and generally flavorless. So much cabbage and onions with a few bits of carrot, broccoli, and mushroom. Barely better than a cup of rehydrated noodles. It was a large portion for $14 (for what was probably $2 of ingredients). It’s only a few hours later and my stomach is wondering why I bothered with the place. My kid even said that the place smelled totally different than it used to, not in a good way. No ambience worth sticking around for. We were going to eat there but ended up leaving and walked a block to eat at a picnic table instead, which was the best part of our lunch today.Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian dish that I saw.

Amazing food! Great customer service! Poor dine in options. Smells funky inside like rancid grease. They have an air purifier running but it doesn't help.

I meant to do a review a week ago. I came in for the first time with my kid's for a take out order. They were very nice and patient with my indecisiveness and caught that I didn't eat pork and informed me that their egg rolls have them too, so I changed my order. The elder lady was so nice to my kids and paid special attention to them and even came from behind the counter to interact with them. The food was the bomb. Portion size fed my family for two days which was soo nice.I'm craving it just thinking about it.I'd LOVE if their egg rolls were vegetarian or pot stickers with chicken. We'll be back soon!

The Food Here is Delicious...the Restaurant isn't Anything Fancy at all but Don't Judge it by it's Looks...The Food is Amazing and the Portion Size is Huge...Enjoyed the Teriyaki Chicken and Beef Meal...My Hubby and I Will Definitely Be Coming Back Here to Eat Again.

Nice looking place, clean, very easy to order from the menu. Staff was very hospitable and the food came out very. Me and my group of friends all ended up ordering the same thing, and she bagged them together as well as giving us a complimentary order of gyoza. Food is delicious and the portions are generous. I would highly recommendWheelchair accessibility: accessible from the street through an open door, plenty of room to make it to the counter as well as maneuver inside.

I’d say this is the chicken teriyaki I’ve ever had in Bellingham. The meat melts in your mouth, the teriyaki sauce is equally sweet and peppery and the portions are hearty, making it a perfect meal on a Friday night.

This is no longer Hana Teriyaki. People and menu have changed. Couldn’t even order… really unfortunate used to be a great place will probably be out of business soon with those prices.

I got the gyoza and chicken teriyaki. The gyoza tasted just like a dumpling with a crispy dough and it was hot and juicy sooooo good. They also gave me 8 pieces. The chicken teriyaki was perfectly salty and sweet however, do not get it for urself they give u like 3 whole chicken breasts and a whole mountain of rice. The only thing that wasn’t great was some high schooler stormed in and started crying and screaming, making the place a lil scary but u can tell the server really was concerned bc instead of just ignoring him, the second he started crying she went over and asked if he was ok and when he didn’t answer they let him be then he screamed and seemed really upset about something and they called 911. Overall, it was a great experience and perfectly satisfied my craving for teriyaki.
