The staff who helped me were very nice, but as someone who buys and eats pelmeni from russian markets regularly, this was wayyy overpriced. $25 for a meals worth of boiled pelmeni?? Pelmeni is like the easiest thing to make in the world and to charge this much for it is insane. The sauces are good, I like them but not enough to go out of my way and eat here again. If I were you, Iād just find euromart and buy a big bag of frozen pelmeni for like half of the price. Takes less...
So, I'm torn here. One its super hard to know if this place is open. As there is no open sign. Two, when we stated it was the first visit, and didn't understand how it worked the gal that checked us in just smiled and laughed and didn't really help in anyway until we pushed. Once the food showed up, the truth is, if you want Russian style, Ukrainian style dumplings and sides, this is your place. If not.....well yeah.
