Sadly, this place has gone downhill. There's hardly ever anyone there. Their menu has shrunk.
I bet they still have a great breakfast menu.

Took 45 minutes to get our food.

Had a craving for fish and chips and they always had panko breading that was light and crisp. This was a to-go order. Got served soggy beer-battered fish even though menu still states panko. Fries not cooked and greasy. Coleslaw was served in a cup with dressing on the bottom and not even mixed. Clam chowder was flavorless. This used to be a fabulous place to eat but the owner obviously has lost his passion since the whole Covid thing. Sad to see a place so well loved for so many years go this way.

Every time I'm here I have the chicken fried steak. The service is friendly and attentive. There is a nice selection of pies and pastries. Lots of booths with windows and free parking.
