Delicious. In Bellingham, a good option for authentic food with balanced ingredients, bringing fish and seafood back to life in a gastronomic parade. Recommended for a good brunch. Affordable and delicious. I'll be back for their takoyaki and tonkatsu ramen.

The service was great. The sushi was good, but the chicken in the ramin was kind of bland, and ruddery. My husband loved his, a pork ramin. It was busy on a Saturday night! But the food was good nonetheless!

(Review for online order) The vegetarian soup tasted really off. The broth was completely unappetizing, there were hardly any vegetables and the added tofu side on one order came with very few pieces of tofu.
The veggie sushi was alright. Tasted fine, but poorly wrapped and had come apart before we opened it.
Experience may be vastly different when eating at the venue.

This is definitely one of my favorites places to eat. Food is always super fresh, and the vibe is great. Dimmed lighting, small, but I never feel too crowded. The takoyaki balls are a great appetizer to get started with!

Good ramen joint. Got the miso ramen. Could be better. I think they use tap water on the broth like all stateside ramen places do.

Went here with a group of friends because we had heard amazing things. Food was good but unfortunately the service was not good, at all.

Three of us ordered one sushi roll each, the other two ordered ramen and chicken katsu. The ramen, katsu, and one sushi roll were served first. When the waiter handed out the sushi roll he didn’t know what it was, so my friend asked “Is this the scallop roll?” and the waiter (in an unsure/confused tone) confirmed that it was. We all started eating and about five mins later the waiter appeared with another roll and again didn’t know what it was, and when asked to confirm if it was the Crunchy roll, the waiter in an unsure tone said yes. We continued to eat, and about 5-10 mins later the waiter came out with the last roll, which clearly had scallops on it and was clearly not what the third roll should have been. We all shared a moment of confusion wondering what happened, and it turned out he had incorrectly identified the first two rolls and we had eaten each other’s rolls due to his mistake. Now we are a solid 15-20 mins into our meal since the first food was brought to the table and our third friend still had nothing to eat since her roll was eaten by mistake. So we then had to order another one of her rolls, which meant waiting another 5-10 mins until she finally got her food. This felt wrong, like we should deserve some sort of discount or apology or something. When we asked if the roll could be taken off our bill, the waiter said “my bad” and told us we’d still be charged for everything as normal because it technically was the food that we had ordered. My other friend also asked for a side of an egg and he denied that as well. The waiter was generally kind, but definitely new or something and should really be careful about incorrectly identifying the food being served to people. It’s a good thing none of us had any food allergies because he literally served all three sushi orderers the wrong food.

Service was bad. But the food was good so I’m conflicted. I did firmly ask to have the roll taken off the bill which they ended up agreeing to, but I felt like I shouldn’t have even had to ask, let alone more than once.

The food is ridiculously fresh, plenty of vegetables, and the fried onions in the veggie ramen broth give it a great flavor. As of my first visit, I am a regular here.

I got the tonkatsu Ramen and first of all, truly amazing right when you get it, but also equally amazing the next day. The integrity of the noodles remain even when reheating the next day.

Further, the takoyaki was sooooo good. Highly recommend this place.

Loved my sushi and salad here. It was a full house, always a sign of a good restaurant, full of locals. Atmosphere was basic but did made up for it in spades!

We had dinner their last night. The food was ok but portions are deceivingly small. Had the shrimp and deep fried vegetables with rice. 3 shrimp, 2 bites zucchini, 2 bites sweet potatoes, 1 bite broccoli and maybe a 1 1/2 cup of white rice. Looked like more with the batter coating it but that's only 5 bite size vegetables with 3 shrimp. We left hungry and paid $15.95/a person. I won't be going back! Also one of us had the California sushi and I tried a bite and wow it tasted really really fishy! It shouldn't have tasted like that! If I had ordered it I would have sent it back!! It was gross!
