This place is so great! It has an awesome vibe, some good live music, and a ton of interesting flavors to try out! Plus, the bartender was very nice and informative!

Small and intimate, get there early if you're going to see some live music as there's limited seating and not much standing room. There's some covered outside tables though.Parking: It's located in an alley, so nearby street parking and a few parking lots nearby are your choices.

We were up in Bellingham for a few days and found this place by chance. We are so glad we did!First, you have to go down the alleyway to get here. Google directs you to the front of the street, but it's behind it, in the alley. Parking right in front of it isn't busy. My husband got the strawberry rhubarb cider, and I got a flight with 5 ciders and 1 mead. All of them were excellent. We especially loved the cranberry and rhubarb ones. We got to meet the owners and cider makers. Super sweet and friendly. We hope to come back up and visit again someday!

Incredible mead and cider! Highly recommend the reserve mead and peach cider ??

I enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere, and the live music nights are a great opportunity to hear local artists. However, it does tend to be quite loud both inside and out of the bar, to a point that seems inconsiderate of the several apartment buildings which share the alley with Honeymoon, especially for late weekday nights.

My girlfriend and I went to the Honey Moon on our US road trip. I am a huge fan of mead and she enjoys cider, which was a great combination. The server (I didn’t catch their name, but she had purple hair) was very kind, approachable, and provided excellent service. The quality of the mead and cider was also excellent and they gave fairly good portions on the flights. The owner “Murph” came up to us at the table and asked how everything was, he was very nice and welcoming. I gotta say, it’s one of the best places I’ve been to, and I would highly recommend going!

Always a great experience here. The weekly open-mic is beautiful and really gives you a sense of the tight-knit folk art community of Bellingham. The bar staff are friendly, the drinks are yummy, and the food is amazing.Come for a show sometime. You'll love it.

I'm not a fan of mead but still wanted to check this place out as they have other drink options. Definitely a cute date night spot. We caught the last couple minutes of a jam session that was going on. Cool place!

I love this place because it reminds me of a place I would have a pint in a D&D game. The mead was tasty, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was great. We went when there wad live music - which was perfect. There was no extra seating, we had to wait. It was worth it. I can’t wait to go back!

Sweet low key vibe, great acoustic music, tasty meads & ciders, and friendly faces.

Hmmm, was looking forward to visiting, yet disappointed. The young gal was quite busy having an animated conversation with two patrons at the bar and I barely got her attention. The older gentlemen seemed to be completely uninterested in giving anyone attention, including the gal serving me. Considering that I only drink local mead or PNW hard cider, I was hoping for, "Hi, Welcome, have you been here before? Have you ever had our mead/cider ??" Or" can I suggest a 'flight'??". Oh well, I'll go back to Sky River Mead or Artivem or Seattle Mead (in Anacortes!). S k'a' l !!

An absolute gem. Always a great spot for a glass or a case of mead. Make sure to try them all!
