I was expecting lame diner food, as we were only here cause it's the oldest restaurant. But the food was great. Even the tots have effort in them with some herbs and something else in there. I got the chicken fried chicken with a side biscuit and it was banging. Flavorful moist chicken breast with a crispy crust. Queso is passable, but I grew up in Texas so I am pretty biased.

Wait where am I? Oh that’s right the Horseshoe Cafe! Taylor is the best and I salute him for making my meal cozy and entertaining ? I got the French toast Stix, Fried Pickles, & a French Dip, all fantastic and came out quick!

It's right around the corner from a restaurant that was packed. When we passed it I regretted planning to go here. But I'm very glad we did.
