We’ve visited Iron Rooster Bakery twice this season, and both visits have been exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly, welcoming staff who clearly care about the experience they’re providing. Even during busy times, everyone remains helpful, patient, and upbeat.
We’ve sampled several items from the menu and have been impressed every time, but the almost croissant truly stands out—it’s flaky, rich, and absolutely delicious. Despite the often long lines, the bakery is extremely efficient and the food comes out quickly without sacrificing quality, which speaks volumes about how well they’re run.
While it’s a little on the pricey side, the quality of the food, consistency, and overall experience make it more than worth it. Iron Rooster Bakery has easily become our favorite bakery in Fairhaven, and it’s a spot we’ll continue coming back to whenever we’re in the area.

The chocolate snail was fantastic, the only complaint I have is that I wish they had more seating
I had the rooster roll. Perfect size, super good. Slightly sweet slightly savory, and hot. Would eat again (and probably will)
Sidewalk service is a holdover from Covid restrictions. Excellent selection of heavenly pastries. Inky, flavorful espresso. Friendly, cute service

The best bakery in town, hands down. The fact that it's only open on the weekends makes it that much more special, and the outdoor curb seating area feels like a little slice of Europe.

No inside area you order at door. Arrive early for the best selection,.I had a chocolate torte that was very light and delicious.
Cute spot with several gluten free pastry options

Food is usually good but it's inconsistent. The owner likes to stand out front of his business and talk to customers while smoking cigarettes. My 2 yr old was sitting with me on a bench in front after buying something to eat here and had to smell cigarettes the whole time.
Really excellent pastries and coffee drinks! I love their quiches, lattes, and croissants. Look forward to trying more of their pastries and definitely recommend checking them out.

Placing order while outside the door is peculiar & there's no comfortable seating. However, the pastries are some of the best European style pastries that I've found in the local area. Iron Rooster Bakery is also the only Whatcom County location that I've been to that knows how to make a proper cappuccino.
