Was so excited to try this place, but with so many good bar options in Bellingham, this one just fell below standard. Super nice bartender... Cool guy. However, the drinks for what I would consider low shelf and just not that great. The environment is prohibition era, and then they have this weird disco ball on the ceiling, which is really confusing. No, we ordered the brie and Apple plate... And the brie was melted down into almost like a beer cheese, but it lost the texture that Bree offers:(Sad to say, this is not a repeat place.

Jack's has it all! It's quiet, cozy and intimate. The perfect place to go after dinner for a nightcap (or two), to complete a perfect night out.
Had the best time here! The craft cocktail list is curated with unique drinks crafted by the bartenders. The whiskey selection is outstanding and if that isn't your thing there were plenty of other liquors and even frozé and frozen daiquiris. We went in specifically to try the Doc Swinson's bourbon and loved it so much we went out and bought a bottle that night. The service from the bartenders was fantastic (thanks Chaiya and Dennis!) and sadly we're just passing through the area but if we lived in Bellingham this would be our go-to bar.

Came here for a quick birthday cocktail and ended up staying for several. Our bartender, Kenzie, was awesome. Friendly and welcoming. Will be back next we are in town :)

The right to put "established in 1918" should be reserved for those few businesses who have actually made it that far. Jacks thought it was cool to put that on their door but it is actually a lie - they've only been around for a few years. Ever since Trump became a major orbit the standard of what is the truth versus a lie has been blurry. Beyond that irritation, this bar pales in comparison to the experience of Daphne's in Edmonds, which is under the same ownership. Jacks was just okay. Of course, the setup is completely different from Daphnes and doesn't lend to the same intimacy which makes Daphne's so magical. Still, many improvements could be made in both the attitude from staff and the decor -- at the very least show historical images of bars and restaurants in Bellingham, instead of 'bar everywhere,' and stop the lying about when you started business.
