You can’t beat the view found at this restaurant. Service was average. I really enjoyed the seafood chowder, the scallop linguine had a little too much lemon in it, and there was a small strand of hair found in the South African lamb stew. I plan on returning here to try different menu items.

It was everything we hoped for, friendly staff, great view from the terrace, good food…but it took forever to get served. The drinks took 20 minutes and came just a couple of minutes before the lunch was served. We ordered a beer, a bloody Mary and two mocktails. How hard can that be for a dedicated bartender to serve up? One person asked for a slice of lemon for the water. It wasn’t served until lunch was finished. Another asked for a cup of chowder to be added to the lunch. It wasn’t served until the lunch was finished and the dishes were cleared. That’s reason enough not to go back.

Loved the truffle fries. The aoli to go with them was a perfect match. Enough though they were matchstick cut, the consistency were commendable: only a few were crunchy.
The New York strip was great. I had a couple bits where the chimichurri had a little heat, and I genuinely enjoyed that. Small critique on the steak, a touch more crust on the steak would have turned it from great to phenomenal.

Seated us and then it took 25 minutes for someone to come take our order—while tables around us sat down, ordered and were served. Then once we ordered, another 15-min for the drinks to arrive. They were challenged keeping our waters filled. Server was sorta apologetic and offered a free dessert at the end, but it was still disappointing and frustrating. Food was good.

Excellent location. A great way to start off a beautiful evening. Halibut was very good but it's the the seafood chowder gets rave reviews from me. One of the best I've had. The scallops were also very good. I'd definitely go back if I were in the area!

All the food was great, from salads to appetizer to main meals. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating and the view was very nice.

Food is amazing. Atmosphere is almost perfect - it was just really hot, sitting by the window with the low sun coming straight in. We were sweating throughout dinner. The service is what took my rating down. Our server disappeared for a long time twice. We wanted to order dessert, and she just never came. Had to hail her to get our check. Then I got food poisoning, but no one else at my table did, so I think it was because she touched my plate with dirty hands - rather than contamination from the kitchen. This is my mom's all-time favorite place, so it sucks that the rest of us got a bad impression.

My favorite place to enjoy a meal and a drink when walking the trail between Fairhaven and Boulevard Park. Beautiful views of the trail and the bay., Over the years, service and food quality have been consistent. Staff is friendly and welcoming to groups and to single travelers. My only issue is parking can be limited on good weather days!

An absolutely GORGEOUS view and some good gluten free options in Bellingham. Everything on the menu was labeled and they notified the kitchen it was Celiac! They even have a gluten free bread for dipping! Our server Mia was very friendly, helpful, and great about checking in and double checking gluten free for us. If you can get a reservation on the patio, would highly recommend! A very cool little pier walk right outside as well. The crab cakes are gluten free! The appetizers were SO delicious looking that we ordered a time and two of us split the salmon.

Worst crab cake I’ve ever had: mushy, a bit grainy (why?), flavorless. Tried the cajun shrimp entree: the shrimp was perfectly fine, the polenta was good, the Cajun “bbq” sauce was thin and had no depth of flavor. Tasted like a hot sauce with a lot of vinegar added to water it down. The salmon dish was the most visually bland dish I’ve ever seen served. The salmon was overcooked, with the white fat seeping out, plopped on top of a white sauce featuring white potatoes. Even dried parsley or paprika sprinkled on top would have improved the look of this dish. Flavor was bland.
Were planning on hosting friends there next week, and are canceling that reservation and finding a new restaurant.
Seriously disappointing, after having enjoyed a tasty dinner there several years ago. Won’t be back. It’s expensive, and it’s fake fine dining.

Staff is great, atmosphere is amazing, food is absolutely garbage. Had high hopes considering the high prices of this establishment but was extremely underwhelmed. We ate here because we stayed at the hotel, but not something we will be returning to. No salt, zero flavor. Seafood was just expensive, nothing was worth the price it was, we tried the breakfast in the morning, our “blueberry” muffin had one blueberry in the entire muffin, smashed at the bottom. I ordered eggs over medium, they weren’t even prepared over easy. They were barely cooked maybe 30 seconds once I cut into them the white part of the eggs were still gooey and wet and the yolk was everywhere. The breakfast potatoes were very sad, I’ve had better in an hospital cafeteria. Extremely unappetizing. For the prices they charge I expected something delicious. Don’t waste your money here on the food. The drinks were okay, a nice drink on their patio overlooking the bay is about as nice as it gets at this place.

The crab patties appetizer was very good, some of the best that I have had. The steak was overcooked. I asked for medium rare, and it was well done. That's a fail in my book. The wait staff was very attentive.
