A nice casual soup and sandwich shop on State St in Bellingham. Staff was friendly, service was quick. I found a quiet table to enjoy an Asian Wrap and a small salad... the basalmic dressing on the salad was a treat, homemade and delish.

Vegan choices were CLEARLY labeled and super good. My husband had the buffalo cauliflower panini and to our delight, the cauliflower wasn't deep fried. And I had the blta wrap, and it was delicious and loaded with healthy veggies. And rhubarb blackberry crisp... oh yummy!!! And the soup of the day was outstanding.

Im so sad to be making this review because I use to love this business, I’ve eaten here before. But especially the girls working there are sweethearts and I run by the business in the evenings all the time. Today I went on a morning run, fell and on my way back was severely dehydrated. I believe it was the owner, an older woman with blonde hair who had the door open and next to her was a pitcher of water with cups. Due to my experience with the business I thought she was a safe person to ask for water, trust me if I could have waited to go elsewhere I would’ve. I’m not an entitled person I promise. Despite this she said they weren’t open yet and I kept it moving. This review is on the character of the owner, and I feel like it’s basic kindness to provide a basic human need of water to someone who was in desperate need of it.
Also don’t order the vegan chorizo, it’s never going to compare to mexican chorizo not even close, save your money. lol. This review is for those who care about the character of people and this was my own personal experience with the owner/supervisor.

Very yummy food and adorable patio space! The turkey pesto panini is to die for and the salad comes with a very good dressing. My friend wasn’t the biggest fan of the gazpacho— unfortunately she said it kind of just tasted like salsa. Otherwise we’ve never had a bad experience here :)

Overpriced salad considering how subpar the ingredients were & mediocre it tasted... the worst part, however, was how terrible the service was. The cook up front prioritized SEVEN checks, all of which came AFTER us. We know this because we were sitting front & center, watching her serve guest after guest while our salad sat limp in it's sauce neglected & unmade. I don't want to stoop so low as to call it racial profiling, but I am a person of color in an establishment run & frequented by only white people. Needless to say, won't be coming back. Pathetic treatment
