The meal and service were fine. But when it came time to pay, neither the waitstaff nor front desk crew could make my hotel issued gift card work. After 30 minutes, I just paid with a credit card. And it took a subsequent trip back to the venue the next day to resolve the issue. No one seemed to know why the gift card didn't work. So, I just demanded and received a refund.
Absolutely elegant lunch, lovely location/view, wonderful service and chefs who understood food allergies and the danger of cross-contamination with allergens. I'm really impressed with the lovely hotel and restaurant. Astonished that such elegance is right there in Bellingham...no need to drive all the way to Seattle!
We were very happy with the Christmas Eve dinner we had at the Lighthouse. Service was very good. My husband had the seafood pasta meal and he liked it alot. My miso salmon was underwhelming unfortunately. Very little taste. Our Ceasar salads were very tasty. We ordered cocktails, I had a Holiday pomegranate cocktail (suggested by the bartender) that was kind of sour. Didn't expect that. My husband had a winter warmer drink that he liked.
