It's great to see bellingham growing up! They got menu items here that you cent get anywhere else! I had the pork Verde skillet- YES! Breakfast in the cast iron! I went twice, also had the pork belly Benedict, and it was a dream! Can't dry enough about this place, food on time no matter how busy! Great tasting, unique, and the service was perfect. Did I mention they have house made salsas bottled on the table?
The Little Cheerful Cafe is aptly named for it is little and very cheerful. The decor is quirky and colorful and everyone in the restaurant, both customers and staff seemed to be having a very good time. It's a small restaurant and was very busy when I visited so I was concerned that I might not be able to get my meal in time and still make my appointment but the service prompt and the food was fast, hot and delicious. The food is great, every person we interacted with was friendly and attentive. We sat outside with our dogs, and even the dogs got served water! It's my 2nd visit there, it'll be a regular stop when I'm up there.
