Lombardi's in Bellingham

Great food and service, a little slow on getting things, yet food made the review higher

Excellent service; they were super nice to us when we managed to be like forty-five minutes late for our reservation (I did call of course!), and ordering was quick and smooth. The olive tasting array was a lot of fun but became less so as we reached the bottom of the bowl because the excess of oil made it difficult to actually taste the olives instead of tasting the oil, which was a little unfortunate, but such a cool idea! Since we were in more of a hurry than anticipated we just split that and a margherita pizza (which was excellent) and fled to catch our musical, but not before I got a chance to try an apricot cocktail (bright and summery, lovely). Ended up being quite inexpensive - really nice light dinner experience!

First of all , showed up to learn they could only take cash. We were staying at hotel nearby so we went back to get cash. we ordered , took quite some time to get bowl of highly salted olives, pesto clams and a highly unedible Spaghetti Puttinesca. Why you decided to salt olives i’ll
never know ! From the first bite could not eat the Spaghetti, it was so over spiced with red pepper flakes we could not eat it. The manager was very understanding and did comp it. Sorry we won’t be back. This was our last night in Bellingham and won’t be back for a long time. But I think we will choose another place next time.

45 minutes into service we still did not receive drink requests or courtesy bread. Dysfunction.

Used to come here all the time, new management new servers. Good quality has gone way down hill and the portions are tiny. Lasagna last time was burnt on edges and tough and tasted old. This time salmon tasted not done and reheated. Kids spaghetti is a bare plate every time . Bread and drinks take forever when not busy: overpriced new male manager was just hanging out with servers we had to ask multiple times for refills we will be switching to another restaurant

Sat at the bar for date night and the bartender was super awesome, very chatty.

An entitled company, they charge you a 4.5% service charge for the privilege if spending 140 bucks there. The service and food were great (and we tipped appropriately) but putting a service charge in the smallest readable print on the bottom of a menu is sleazy at best. They say it is to compensate employees equitably, which of course is completely unverifiable. Will not be returning until used car salesman tactics are removed.

I sat at the bar, so I did have more direct access to the staff. But they were great, the bread and olive oil/garlic dip for the bread was on point. The lasagna was awesome.

Our foursome all ordered the Italian Dinner Special. We were informed after the food was being served that the Bellingham location does not do the special on Monday evenings even though I received an email from Lombardis with a menu link showing the dinner. The restaurant did honor the special pricing but specifically said that the Bellingham location doesn't do what the advertising said. We travelled quite a distance to have a nice dining experience which was not as enjoyable as it should have been when the manager came to discuss our order and their advertising!

Lackluster service and mediocre food. We had to wave down the server to get beverage refills ... they were more interested in chatting with regular guests to the establishment (which we are but were ignored). Veal canneloni was very rich ... not their usual standard ... we hope the next visit is better.

Delicious, especially the lamb meatballs. Service could be a touch faster.

Had a lovely meal with amazing service, the mushroom ravioli is the best ravioli I've ever had, would highly recommend

Amazing food but have a reservation as they won’t even let you sit at the bar to wait. Even if it’s empty. Weird really.
