Lombardi's in Bellingham

We had our first dinner last night for my husband's birthday. I was not overly fond of where our table was, looking at the parked cars. But, the restaurants ambience is very nice & we can tell next time we would like to sit on the patio in nice weather. We arrived at 5:00 so we had great attention for about 45 minutes and then it got a lot busier. Our server had all the tables in the room, plus I noticed he waited on a table on the patio. He was getting spread pretty thin. The food was really good. Two of us had the Shrimp Scampi and really liked it, had more of a spice to it than normal. My husband had the Mahi Mahi, he really liked the mashed potatoes with a little lemon in it. The fish was cooked perfectly, veges went well with it. My son thought the crust of the pizza was too thin apparently. My daughter got the same kind of pizza and liked it just fine. Waiter was a good server. He was very present and quick to know what we needed. We would go back. We had a party of five.

The service was very good. My friend and I sat outside as it was a nice evening. My Tortellini Gorgonzola was delicious and even had some leftovers to take home for lunch the next day.

Excellent food and service. Dined during off hours so noise level was very low. Beautiful view. Definitely recommend.

We sat for 10 min before getting water, it was another 10 min before we were greeted by our server. My salmon was very overcooked, The server did not check to see that the food was satisfactory. By the time I was able to get her attention, the rest of my party were nearly done eating.The manager offered to buy one desert for the table to share. This was a very disappointing experience.

Excellent service; they were super nice to us when we managed to be like forty-five minutes late for our reservation (I did call of course!), and ordering was quick and smooth. The olive tasting array was a lot of fun but became less so as we reached the bottom of the bowl because the excess of oil made it difficult to actually taste the olives instead of tasting the oil, which was a little unfortunate, but such a cool idea! Since we were in more of a hurry than anticipated we just split that and a margherita pizza (which was excellent) and fled to catch our musical, but not before I got a chance to try an apricot cocktail (bright and summery, lovely). Ended up being quite inexpensive - really nice light dinner experience!

We have been eating at Lombardi‘s for some years. It's always great and we really enjoy our meals there. Our server David (whom we have had the fortunate opportunity to have as a waiter on previous visits) was there again. His service is perfect!

First of all , showed up to learn they could only take cash. We were staying at hotel nearby so we went back to get cash. we ordered , took quite some time to get bowl of highly salted olives, pesto clams and a highly unedible Spaghetti Puttinesca. Why you decided to salt olives i’ll
never know ! From the first bite could not eat the Spaghetti, it was so over spiced with red pepper flakes we could not eat it. The manager was very understanding and did comp it. Sorry we won’t be back. This was our last night in Bellingham and won’t be back for a long time. But I think we will choose another place next time.

45 minutes into service we still did not receive drink requests or courtesy bread. Dysfunction.

It was a perfect night at Lombardi's. The view of the marina from inside is lovely, and the decor is warm and welcoming. I don't think any of our party didn't love the food, from the focaccia to the pasta to the deserts. Yummy!

Used to come here all the time, new management new servers. Good quality has gone way down hill and the portions are tiny. Lasagna last time was burnt on edges and tough and tasted old. This time salmon tasted not done and reheated. Kids spaghetti is a bare plate every time . Bread and drinks take forever when not busy: overpriced new male manager was just hanging out with servers we had to ask multiple times for refills we will be switching to another restaurant

Sat at the bar for date night and the bartender was super awesome, very chatty.

Usually we've had wonderful meals, but this time was disappointed. 2 of the meals the veggies and potatoes were not hot and my veal was not tender and had a lot of gristle. Hope next time will be better.

Excellent, authentic and varied northern Italian food. Superior wine list. Exceptional swrvice.
