coffee is pricey and not very good. but the Turkish tea pot we had here must have a touch of sorcery. The day my friends and I came here drinking that tea we were all bubbling with joy and enthusiasm we spent hours chatting away bonding. Towards the end we noticed we were all buzzing and smiley. When we met up in the future there was never that same spark again. I sometimes come back looking for that tea.

Everytime I come here I am reminded that for the price the coffee is not my favorite. Like the look of the place and the workers are nice but the coffee is just not good. Maybe I need to try something different but everytime I come here the shots are burnt and for seven dollars I think that’s ridiculous.

Great coffee, not so great gluten-free bread 😪, atmosphere was great, and be careful of the water glasses both of ours had lipstick rings. The inside of the gf breakfast sandwich was good and the bacon was delicious 😋

Yuk. Just yuk. A potentially great space that tries to hard to be hip with the terrible decor, but they must have great wifi because every seat was filled with a 20-something clattering away on the latest Apple product. I'd have forgiven the impersonal sterility if the coffee had been good but it was like battery acid. I took a couple of sips and threw the rest away.

Desperately needs a blender to make blended drinks.

i spilled my matcha and staff was kind enough to make me another ! it was overall so cozy and nice and the matcha tasted great!

This the absolute best coffee shop and coffee anywhere!!! I always go here when I’m in Bellingham. Great coffee, great food and awesome service. When I’m home I order their coffee on line and it’s the best!

I've been coming to Makeworth since shortly after they first opened. It's a bright, lively (if noisy) place with friendly servers and expertly roasted coffee. Unfortunately, they've lost a fair amount of quality as they've gained success. Originally, they offered freshly made food that was exceptional, but (a couple of years ago) they had to switch to Starbucks-style convection ovens and pre-made wraps and baked goods to keep up with increasing volume. Understandable but still a bummer. I kept coming anyway because I'm a coffee snob and I could get outstanding pour-overs at MW. But today, my pour-over was watery, which surprised me until I noticed that they don't do pour overs by hand anymore--they switched to a Moccamaster machine that pours the water too quickly and likely doesn't include a bloom. On top of that, the barista forgot all about my pour-over, so it sat for quite a while after it was ready. If you're into espresso drinks like lattes and such, none of this likely matters-- you'll love the place! But if you're looking for exceptional coffee and food, I have to honestly say that it's dropped from excellent to just meh.
