The staff behind the counter are fantastic. The older lady I believe is the owner was unpleasant. Wanted to have wine with our lunch . Was quoted 5 corking fee. ( was a screw top) the stellar employee asked the owner she said no it’s 10 I told you last week. We declined the purchase. She proceeded to be rude to us stating she needs to pay 500. For the service. She tried to make it right by saying I will let you have it for 5. By then we were done with the unpleasantness. We ate our food, it was ok. Will never go back again

The store is fantastic, beats Costco on cooking oil and the only place I have found Kefalograviera cheese for a homemade Saganaki, delicious. The owner's are wonderful and knowledgeable if you have any questions about a dish you want to make. The food has been variable but always brings flavors I am happy to receive. Definitely choose the lamb over the beef and the shawarma if you like vinegar marinades. The falafel were a bit overcooked this time with carbonization on the crust. The Lebanese coffee is unique and delicious, last time they left the cardamom seeds in and it infused more flavor.Vegetarian options: Very flavor filled veggie options.

The dudes that helped me were awesome. They knew a lot about everything. And don't stress about prices not being listed on things because they are part of the global economy also. But they are happy to check everything for you
Amazing food and more than that extremely generous owner and staff. Loved them!

There's nothing not to love about Mediterranean Specialties. I always thought they just sold imported goods were on the world, which they do, but they also sport an amazing kitchen where they make everything in-house. To give you an idea of how fresh everything is, when I asked if they made their own tsatsiki sauce, they responded "We make our own yogurt which we use to make our own tsatsiki sauce." Olives from Lebanon and Italy, cheese from Greece and Spain, spices from every corner of the globe can be found, it's a true gem.

Lots of lovely looking unique items, I would give this store a higher rating than a three if they had a single inclination to put a price tag on absolutely anything, shopping for things that don't have price tags is an unbelievably awkward experience unless you are just so filthy rich that you don't have to think about such things.

Today I ordered a piece of baklava. The guy said, "Just one?" like it was an odd request. And I thought, how much baklava does he think I need? Then I paid and left and ate my baklava. I immediately wanted another one. Not having another one left me bereft, unrequited, haunted by a great gnawing emptiness. If you go there for baklava get at least two.
