A very nice dining experience. We enjoyed some amazing food, unique cocktails, a nice wine selection and great service. What a great dinner we had, from the house made spirits for cocktails, a delicious beet salad with the cured meat was a nice way to start. We then enjoyed puttanesca and the lamb shank on polenta. For dessert we had the white Italian cake and their tiramisu, both were great, not overly sweet with great texture. The service was really good with both our waiter and the owner checking in on us. We will definitely be back to this spot.

Capri salad with unripe tomatoes and the pasta was way too salty. Atmosphere ok. Service ok. Food was poor except the balsamic was good. Wouldn't go back.

My wife and I attended the customer appreciation event dinner on 3/27 were very pleased with the whole event. Both the service and food were top-notch. The five course dinner, including dessert started with a cherry blossom cocktail made with gin, lime juice, and absinthe spritz. Each of the first three (of five) courses was paired perfectly with either red or white wine and the latter two courses with an Italian craft beer. I thoroughly enjoyed the starter roasted beet salad, followed by pheasant cacciatore and fried polenta, and finally a crusted halibut with sautéed chard and mushrooms. The final course before dessert was pork and elk meatballs in marinara with baked arancini. The chocolate mousse was delightful, and albeit rich was light. It was paired with a porter style Italian beer, which was special.I departed very content, but not overstuffed.I heard several of the courses will be on the new menu, which I look forward to on my next visit.

Awesome service. The interior is unique, it's partly nautical and partly Italian. As a sailor I loved the nautical interior. The food was amazing. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Definitely get the bread pudding for dessert!

Very dissappointing. My partner and I came here for my birthday dinner. Despite not seeming very busy, they were out of a lot of food items. I ordered the crab fettucine, which was told an hour after ordering that they were out of that particular pasta and substituted with something else. I didn't really care that much, but when we finally got our food, the fettucine was bland with overcooked fish and piping hot as if it was microwaved. I am not one to complain, but I couldn't lie when I was asked if everything was okay after the server noticed our plates still full, but wanting the check with no boxes. The server was nice enough to comp the fettucine. We were eager to just leave and didn't mention that the lamb was unfortunately overpowered by a strange sauce, yet polenta was virtually tasteless. The atmosphere itself was a bit weird and smelled of dust. After reading other poor reviews and seeing the owner's negative responses to them, I felt inclined to share our experience. Definitely won't be returning.

Went for dinner tonight with my daughter. The greeter who seated was not warm or happy to see us even though half the restaurant was empty at 6.it took about 10 minutes to have a follow up where we placed a salad order an our dinner order. 10 minutes later bread showed up and 10 minutes after that our salad to share. The croutons were soaked and getting soft and one fingernail sliver of anchovy on the salad. The salad was good but not even close to expectation especially after later being charged for two salads on our bill which I unfortunately missed until after we left as we were just ready to go after the whole experience. Our dinner took another 40-45 minutes to arrive so well over an hour to receive our dinner. My daughter ordered the prosciutto and mushrooms which was really good and great flavor. I ordered the prawns and pesto pasta which was good. The prosciutto wrapped prawns were delicious but only four medium sized shrimp for the meal. The pesto was off in flavor and not balanced. We were disappointed it and didn’t seem busy but seemed really unorganized. A bar tender server who wasn’t busy at all but didn’t check in on us only to drop off our main and bring us the check and woman mainly in the back who seemed to be handling everything else including seating us, taking our order, bringing our bread and later our salad, with a person in the kitchen too who really didn’t have orders coming in but took forever to get our food out. Dinner was overpriced for the quality and portion and service was pretty poor.

We had dinner last night and the entree's and service was excellent! I had the lamb Toscano and my wife had Parma Funghi. Both entrees with exquisite taste. We have been at Milano's several times. This is our go to place in Fairhaven!

Please bring back the simple dinner salad, it’s something light before a heavier pasta dinner. Also, if a glass of Prosecco is offered as a birthday perk, please offer before bill has been paid and we’re almost out the door. The food, as always, is outstanding!

Awful place. Don't go. Staff has no clue. Food is terrible.. Owner has a very bad attitude! Wife an I went for dinner. Place was empty except for one other couple. The my made a big fuse about Iberian Ham on the menu - not available. Oh well, we ordered the mushrooms as an app. They arrived. Just a bowl of mushrooms. I asked the waiter, how do I eat them? I don't know was the reply. Oh, ill bring bread. Bread arrived. By bread, I mean factory produced white crap. I orded the Black Cod with risotto as main, and my gust ordered the eggplant with polenta. Food arrived. My cod was the smallest tail section placed on bed of risotto. The cod was stunningly small and the risotto was beyond over cooked. Mush on a plate. My wife said her dinner reminded her of school dinner. Polenta was like paist and the egg plant was disgusting. We sent them both back. I could hear the waiter telling rhe ",chef" our complaints. No sign of the Owner who had been very visual on the floor up to this pont. I asked for the check. Paid and left. Got a call about 10 minute's later. I had left my credit card. I went back. Got my credit card, and was leaving, when the owner confronted me. Aggressive italian man. My food is not bad as you say he yield at me. You are not welcome here again. I looked at him and said I want nothing to do with this place and left. He was yelling at me as I walked out. I got about 10 feet from the front door and turned around and went back in. I found the owner and said, I was not looking for any trouble, you make bad food and expect me to pay top $$$$ for it. I won't have it. I came to get my card and leave, not argue with you. You tried to sell me a cod tail and mushy risotto along with my wifes awful dish and I won't have it. His wife got involved and pulled him back. I left after he told me I was barred again. I asked him why he thought I would EVER frequent his operation again. Notice how he didn't come to our table at the time of the incident, just when he knew I had paid for my app and drinks. So to sum up, don't go here. Owner thinks his food is perfection. It's not. Its awful. If I had a pig, I wouldn't feed it the microwaved crap coming out of this restaurant. Over priced microwaved slop, that should be ashamed to be called Italian food.

A true treat! Can't believe we waited so long to get here. Sam & Nancy know & have blessed Bhamsters with a true fine dining experience. And if you doubt for a moment your wine choice with your entree or which Amari (42 of them) with dessert Sam will rescue you.Milanzane Delicioso, Raslan Salad, Lamb Shank over Polenta, Linguine with [in season) Chantelles. There was much, sighing, ooooing & ahhhhing at our little table for two. I can imagine not having the Raslan salad as for the rest, I can hardly wait to work my way through the menu to start all over again.

We ended up here because the stake house across the street was closed. Ended up being a blessing. Best picanha I’ve had in the state. (If you can even find it) My husband and I both cleaned our plates. Drinks were good. HUGE wine selection and nicely decorated.
