Mount Bakery Cafe Fairhaven

I ordered cinnamon roll French toast and they brought out a Belgian waffle. When I corrected the server, they did not seem very apologetic. They did nothing to make up for their mistake (by giving me the waffle, a discount, or something else) and failed to bring us a new bottle of water until I asked after several minutes. I then had to wait for them to make the French toast I ordered, while the people I was dining with ate their food (to prevent it from getting cold). When the bill came, my meal was still incorrectly listed as the Belgian waffle, so I felt like they didn’t acknowledge their error. I was really excited to try this place, as it came highly recommended, but was sorely disappointed with the service!

Although the food was disappointing and overpriced, the service was the real letdown. From the moment we arrived, we were met with what felt like an openly annoyed attitude, which became even more pronounced after my 10-month-old had a typical baby moment and made a waffle mess on the floor, which we cleaned up. It's a shame, as the location seemed promising, but based on our experience, this cafe may not be suitable for families with young children or parties larger than two.

What a great service we had there young girl helping us out, and she was brilliant, andattentive. I had their eggs, Benedict and then. My wife wanted me to emphasize that the Benedict was on a wall, which made it very interesting. Never had it before. It’s really good. You should try it.

Came here on a nice rainy day and was immediately impressed with the delicious smell of the bakery and the kitchen. Service was great and the food was better than the service and all the pricing was affordable. 10/10 would recommend and plan to come again.

Amazing bakery. Baked goods are always delicious, and have been picking up bakery yummiest over the years, then finally gave the breakfast menu a try and was so impressed. So worth the drive down there from Ferndale.

Was excited to try the Eggs Benedict but was pretty disappointed. Potatoes and waffle were both cold when brought out. Not worth $21.

Smoked salmon eggs benny. All of those words on their own are lovely but combine them and then shove all that into your mouth and gullet...my goodness

Food was incredible, we were blown away. Highly recommend the congee, hope it stays on the menu! I wish they had one more staff member as it gets pretty busy but overall great experience.

Great breakfast from Mount Bakery Fairhaven today! Mocha (moliere?) and blaste sandwich. Really sweet staff and my food was super delish. Take out was easy and quick. Worth it!!

Breakfast was delicious, Americano was excellent. I'll be back.

Waited to order pastries for my family but they helped everyone but me.

I don’t usually go for crepes, but the photos of various dishes at Mount Bakery Cafe Fairhaven were so enticing that I had to give it a try, and I was not disappointed in the least! The food was just as exceptional as I had hoped, with every bite living up to the hype. While the atmosphere is a bit utilitarian, it has its own charm. The service was top-notch, but the real winner here is the food. Eden made sure everything was perfect—and I’m sure she was as surprised as I, when “Batman” made a visit on a Monday morning! If you're looking for a delicious meal and a warm, welcoming vibe, this place is a must-visit!
