This place definitely deserves more attention. Coffee tasted great, very nutty, smooth, not bitter or smoky at all. At the right temperature! Food was simply delicious and very fresh! Very satisfied! The service is way better than Vancouver 😆 Thoughtful, polite and friendly! Totally one of the best experience in Bellingham. I noticed that they have a pair of antique speakers, it seems they did a refinish of the boxes, very nice! And the acoustic boards on the ceiling show their attention to details and the love for music. Will come back again next time when we are in town! Thank you very much!

This place is my go to. Their chai is made in house and so delicious. I used to frequent the Everett Narrative when I was a college student and loved the $1 Honor Bar. I wish this location had that but will still go for the hazelnut bear claws and outdoor seating - five stars!

I had a disappointing experience at this coffee shop today. They don’t use tickets, which led to confusion with our order—we paid for the largest size coffee but received the smallest. We also ordered a butter croissant and the last chocolate croissant, but another patron, who cut us off in line, ended up with our food. Instead of correcting the mistake, the staff gave us two butter croissants and never fixed the drink size. To top it off, my girlfriend, who’s a barista, noticed something was off with the roast, making the coffee overly bitter. Overall, the lack of organization and quality was frustrating.

Cute little coffee shop in Everett with lots of textures in the interior: tile floors, high ceilings with exposed beams, concrete, brick walls, and wood paneled bar… There are several seating options including tables, couches, window bar, and outdoor chairs.

Narrative sells whole bean coffee, including several roasters I hadn’t heard of before. I got Dune and Valor beans to try at home. Coffee smelled amazing - the barista said they rotate through these same beans in their espresso drinks.

We got a ham sandwich, biscuit with blueberry jam, and several coffee drinks. I loved my iced oat milk latte with honey simple syrup. ?

If you want anything on the breakfast menu, you need to order before 1pm when they stop serving off that menu - the biscuit with mushroom gravy sounded good, so I’ll have try that next time.

Coffee was good but the prices were ridiculous. $10 for a 12 oz mocha with an extra shot.

They did not have 16oz option for hot latte, which is the only way I could drink coffee with milk to espresso proportions. It was very upsetting, given that this is the standard in every coffee shop. No pastries either. Left with nothing.

True specialty coffee both brewed and espresso. Friendly baristas.

This is a good cafe that knows what they are doing but it’s just too expensive and too slow for 5 stars. $5 + tip for a basic 1oz espresso (standard most other places is 2oz) that takes 10 minutes to make. Food is also very expensive for what you get and is quite unmemorable.

Cute coffee shop with good coffee and decent study spaces. A few pastry type food options too for breakfast or a snack.

The chairs could be more comfortable but that is honestly my only feedback. Best coffee in town hands down.

Walked in to get a coffee, didn't know the hours, but the door was open. Didn't even get a greeting, just sorry we just closed... lock the door maybe? And someone was inside still enjoying a beverage... kinda bummed but oh wellWho closes at 2pm anyhow ?

Great spot, kind of trendy. It has nice tasting coffee and tea. It's very clean with comfy chairsThey have a nice outside area as well. Cool interior!

Parking: Easy to find a spot because it's on the fringe of town and a neighborhood.

‘twas a bit pricey, even for a specialty coffee shop, but their snack and coffee quality are on point.
