New Mexico Tamale Company

This place is outrageously expensive. Over $20 for a quesadilla that didn’t even come with sides. Tamales look good but again everything seems over priced. Bummer

My partner and I are vegan and we are always so happy when we eat here! It’s rare to have so many options at any non-vegan restaurant but New Mexico Tamale Company goes above and beyond! All the staff have always been so nice and the owner is amazing and lovely! It’s always a pleasure to eat here and I strongly recommend anyone who’s around and wants delicious Mexican food to give them a try!!

Ordered the family meal pack for a work lunch with coworkers. Everyone was happy, there are so many combinations to choose from. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and meat eaters alike had options. ¡Muy delicioso!

I grew up in Texas and these are the closest tasting to the ones I grew up with. I regularly drive up from the Seattle area for these tamales.

Split an order of 6 tamelas with my wife, fantastic. My toddler was given a free bowl of rice and beans which was awesome. Love this place!

This place is great! Delicious food, friendly staff, and one of the cleanest restaurants in town! The horchata was amazing!!

I'm actually so sad to be writing a 3 star review because the food was very tasty and the staff were so sweet. I just think it was overpriced and skimpy. My partner's wet burrito was almost entirely rice and beans with very little chicken and that just sucks when you drop $20 on a burrito to get skimped on the meat like that. The tamales also did not contain much meat. (See photos) My flautas didn't have the cilantro sauce and they were only crispy on the edges. I'm so sad because the flavors genuinely were great. I just feel like I got a little cheated after spending over $50.

Food was fantastic but $64 for 6 small tamales, beans and rice, tiny amount of chips and side of queso, is ridiculous😅

Was there visiting and stumbled upon this place. Absolutely amazing, service was great, food was great, ambience is very cute. I grew up on New Mexican food and haven’t been able to find anything even close to the authentic taste, until now. Tamales and sauces were perfect. A bit pricy, but worth it. Reminds me of my grandmas cooking. Will always be back when I find my way to Bellingham!

Amazing tamales 🫔 truly delicious. Best I've had! Will be going back.Vegetarian, vegan options as well which are incredible. The green chile salsa tasty completes the meal. Yum The servers friendly & courteous.

We had NM tamale company cater our wedding. The food arrived hot, everything was delicious and all our guests loved it! The service was fantastic. I can’t wait to go there for lunch/ dinner and I will definitely be using them again if we need a catered event. I used to live in NM and this food made me feel like I was back there, haven’t had anything this good in WA!! 10/10!! Thank you NM tamale co!
