This is Bellingham’s best spider roll! The man who makes it creates such a neat and fresh roll full of ingredients. This is my brother’s and I’s favorite place for Japanese. It may not have the best selection of bento options, but the combo dinners and sushi are great! The owners are also lovely and the family is so kind. Thank you for being in Bellingham!
The chicken is grilled well and the rice is good. What lets down the standard teriyaki plate first and foremost is the sauce—it has a very light taste and doesn’t add much to the otherwise perfect chicken and rice. The accompanying salad needs to be separated for takeout. It was too warm even from a short drive, with unsatisfactory greens and a flavorless dressing. The gyoza is just fine.

Very kind staff, clean restaurant, and the food was awesome! We got the teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu, both of which were phenomenal and was made super quickly. We will definitely be returning!
