The beet rueben was excellent!

While super happy to have this place in town, the food is okay but did not blow our minds the way it seems to have done for others. The place is cute. We did not feel very welcomed by the owners upon arrival and the server was efficient but distant.

Arrived in town Friday night for a weeklong Bellingham Beercation. Time of open determined Otherlands would be our first stop. We arrived to a near full cute, small patio. I appreciated their cute little directional sign by the curb, directing all the nearby breweries in every direction. We continued inside to the brewery and a few tables.... all sorts of Oktoberfest decorations. Our server was friendly Maddy who let us know they offered scooner pours if we didn't want a full pint; we did not as we had ground to cover and the day was a marathon not a sprint, also meant opting for lower ABV beers. Lovely touch of pretty fresh flowers on the table. I asked Maddy if she had recommendations for nearby breweries and beers at them? She seemed hesitant to offer up any info, totally fine as we intended to check them all out. Four people soon sat at the table next to us so I asked them if they had any thoughts on the brewery scene? They were a friendly load of help that helped us dictate some next stops! I opted for an Excessive Celebration 5.8% festbier, it was delicious. Otherlands is a fun and delicious beer stop, don't skip it. Our first stop of the day so we weren't hungry yet so no rating or thoughts on the menu.

The beer is good, but the fries are even better!! This is my go to for some fries and a beer with friends and family. There are loads of vegan/vegetarian options that make it so easy to find something for everyone.

My husband and I were doing a little unofficial Bike N’ Brew around town and biked past here on our way to another brewery. So glad we decided to pop in! We sat upstairs at the bar and grabbed two delicious beers and the giant pretzel. Staff were amazing! Super cozy, neighborhood gem! We will be back for dinner and second breakfast. This might be our new fave spot in town. Also, the playlist was fantastic. A+ music choice. Felt at home! ❤️

Had a couple of beers and meals. The Reuben was great, as was the kale caesar ordered with it. Pierogies were excellent and curried chips were salty, but great.

Their Kellerbier was the star of the evening for me, and was chased by an amazing saison!

We'll be here again soon.

Really enjoyed Otherlands "Second Breakfast" and beer! The pancakes and the breakfast sandwich were amazing. The smashed potato hash and eggs was good; however, the potato and brussel sprout mix was way too salty.

Highly recommend coming here as many times as you need to try the whole menu (then keep coming back because it’s so damn good)- 10/10 every single time!

Added- don’t miss out on brunch, I’ve been converted to a french toast girl and the potato breakfast sando was *perfect*

Everything here is so delicious! The beers have all been great, and the vegetarian menu is inventive and made me want to order everything. We had the beet Reuben which gave that smokiness and depth, the pierogi shakshuka which was super herby and flavorful, and in the past the latkes which, at the time, had a novel take using more scandi veggies rather than potatoes only. Loved the foresty mushroom decor and the staff. Totally recommend!!

Have previously been to Otherlands and loved it. Service is great and food is delicious. However, when I brought my wife (celiac) to eat here (was previously told there was a separate frier for gluten-free items), they told us that none of their "gluten-free" items were actually safe and that we should have a salad instead.

While I do love this place, I was disappointed that it's not really celiac friendly. Just wanted to post this for others with gluten allergies, as it can be frustrating when the menu says "gluten-free" but is just gluten-friendly.

So nice to have great food were there are vegetarian and vegan options. That burrito was delicious and huge! Service was top notch! Friendly and super clean atmosphere. Looking forward to future trips to Bellingham just to eat here.

This place was pretty tasty, but not as amazing as others indicated here. We got the falafel wrap with Caesar salad, the Brussels sprouts, the beet Rueben with curry fries, and a large frisée and citrus salad with tofu. The falafel sandwich was short on falafels, the beet sandwich was a little too many beets and not enough other ingredients, the salad was good, the only n/a beer was… boring.

This spot defied expectation. Most menu items have a vegan option, and those options are well executed! Got the falafel wrap w/caesar salad and an order of salt and vinegar “fancy frites” for the table. The salt and vinegar fries come with a vegan dill garlic aioli that goes so, so well with the fries. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to try the vegan pierogi next time around!

We had the Smashed Potato Hash & Tofu Eggs(Vegan) and loved it. The textures were great…crispiness of both the Brussels sprouts and potatoes, with the sweet pop of juice from the grapes. This is something I wouldn’t make at home, which makes this meal even better. Portions are a good size and we were able to split it and feel satisfied. Caesar salad was great. Perfectly dressed and seasoned.
