It has been a while since I have been back in Bham, which meant awhile eating and drinking at Otherlands. Went yesterday and had their seasonal fall salad which was the best salad I have eaten in a long while… A combination of shaved brussel spouts, kale, nuts goat cheese,roasted squash and a sweet surprise of sliced figs!!! What a great brunch! I love the Eastern European menu and beers! We were lucky enough to chat with Karolina, one of the owners and a fellow Polish teammate, despite the brewery being busy. She took the time to talk about the menu and our shared Polish culture. Dziękuję, Karolina.

While super happy to have this place in town, the food is okay but did not blow our minds the way it seems to have done for others.
The place is cute.
We did not feel very welcomed by the owners upon arrival and the server was efficient but distant.
