This little gem is located at the ferry terminal in Bellingham. We both had a craving for fish and chips so it didn't hurt us to stop by on the way to Chukanut Drive. (LOVE LOVE ❤️ that Drive!!!!!😁) We split a 3pc cod and a small (12oz, generous for a small) crab soup. They have indoor/outside seating which we did since it was a nice sunny day and the water view was cool 😎. The soup was nice, with crab pieces you can actually see, but the fish was very tasty!!!...
This place used to be incredible, but the last several times I’ve eaten here the portions have been smaller and the fish has been almost rubbery - definitely not fresh. Probably older frozen, even though it’s summer and there should be plenty of fresh fish available. I’m bummed because this used to be the best fish and chips in town. I’m wondering if there’s new ownership or new management.
At first I was worried about location but turned out being great. Views are nice, service was very friendly. Food was really great. Came out quick as well. Would highly recommend. Parking was easy and lots of it. Usually a little difficult for us with a dually but no problem here.
